My husband spent his hard earned money, $1200, for permanent laser hair removal from this company. Only a few short months later I have full blown hair regrowth. I am back to shaving everyday. There were at least 3 different people who worked on me. All of which were NOT the kindness. Not consistent with one person because they treat their employees badly as well. I've contacted them for a resolution by office manager Amanda and was told there was nothing they could do for me and offered me zero! So I have to leave this one in my attorneys hands. Don't waste your time! Take your money elsewhere!

The staff at Skin Perfection of Southfield were very warm and friendly. I was referred to Dr. Tina Pickett by my primary physician, she immediately put me at ease when she entered the exam room through her professionalism and her down-to-earth demeanor.

Please do your research on laser hair removal before you come here. I went here for a consultation, it was recommended that I try them because they provide laser hair removal for ethnic skin. The staff was very monotone; from the receptionist to the nurse that I consulted with. The office is very dim, stuffy and hot; which was a red flag for me (I believe that doctors who take pride in their clients, take pride in their office environment as well). During my consultation the nurse did not look at my face/problem areas not once. She sat 8-10 ft away from me the entire appointment. As she described the procedure, I found out that they only have ONE laser in the entire office that has been in use for years. They use the same IPL laser on everyone. BIG RED FLAG. I did extensive research on laser hair removal and IPL lasers are not at all recommended for dark skin tones because they are known to cause severe burns and scars at higher settings; and the lower settings are too low to effectively remove hair. Instead, the nd: YAG laser is recommended, which they do not have. When I asked her about it she just kept saying that IPL is approved for skin types 4-6. I would have to assume my skin type is 4-6, had I not done research to know I am a 6. As she never explained what that meant. Once she was done vaguely explaining the procedure, I proceeded to ask questions. She seemed extremely annoyed at my questions and went on to repeat everything she had already told me verbatim as if she were reading from a script without actually answering the questions I asked. She did not seem very knowledgeable or interested until we got to the good part which was pricing. After that it was simply an “okay, goodbye..don’t care if you come back, don’t care if you don’t. I am not saying not to go here, your experience may be different from mine. However, do your own research first. It is your body/ FACE and it is a LASER being used. With that being said my overall experience about a 2.

I've been going to skin perfection for 5 years and my experience there has been nothing but great. The staff are so nice and sweet and greets you with such a warm smile Everytime....Every issue I had concerning my skin has been resolved and now I'm walking around with much more confidence. Latonya is awesome. I would definitely recommend Skin Perfection to any one :)

The first visit was fine, But when i started having problems and need a different prescription I could not get a hold of the Doctor. Called multiple times, because of my hours I couldnt just go up there. The front desk staff is very rude. Will not be going back there again. They kept trying to schedule me right after there lunch and they were ALWAYS late and I would have to wait for them to come back and unlock the door.
