My son who is 4yrs old had his surgery there on April 3rd and I was so scared to bring him because of some reviews that I read and some personal scary thoughts about anesthesia that I had. But i was very surprised and impressed finally by how professional they were. The dr Stevens did my son's surgery first she came and explained everything that was going to be done with me then i shared my scary thoughts with her and she take her time to reassure me and comfort me, same for the anesthesiologist who was very friendly to my son and try to make him comfortable. What i thought was going to be a nightmare turn to a good experience i definitely recommend them . If I have only one thing to blame is the waiting period it's too long for a kids my appointment was at 8am and I was there by 7pm and i drove 1:30mins to be there as i live out of the city and he went into surgery room only at 10am it was hard to handle a kid who haven't drink or eat anything since midnight for that long please considered to work on that because a kid is different from an adult they can't stand that and we parents have hard time to handle them. A big thank you to dr Stevens and staff .

Brought my granddaughter to Prairieview for dental surgery. The surgeon, anesthesiologist and nursing staff were absolutely amazing! The care and compassion shown exceeded my expectations. First class facility, I would HIGHLY recommend Prairieview to anyone. Thank you to all the staff!!

Place needed to be cleaned it was dirty in the waiting room. Luckily our nurse was great very informative but there was an older nurse there who didnâ€™t seem to have much compassion for her job. Anesthesiologist was great with my kids and the dentist seemed good as well! Our recovery nurse didnâ€™t have much bedside manner, she told me to move out of the way when putting the bed rail down instead of a simple â€œexcuse me â€œ. My sons clothes had blood on his pants by his knees on his shirt and his face was a mess, and they didnâ€™t clean their teeth off either when they went into recovery! They looked rough! My son had a cement paste on the top of his mouth that wasnâ€™t removed and was told it was a tooth coming in ðŸ§. I asked for a dentist to come look it over and the dentist we were dealing with had left already. Luckly one was still there & helped us remove the cement like substance from the top of his mouth. The wait was crazy long to get in which we expected. My biggest thing about this place is it needed a good cleaning and you could tell it was a Friday- ready for the weekend type of attitudes.

Not sure why there were less than ideal reviews for this Surgical Centre because this was such a professionally run medical centre. I went in for surgery and from the time I arrived to the time I left all the staff members were nothing short of professional. Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff from the reception to the nurses. I would go to this Surgical Centre over a hospital for any surgery! The nurses went over my discharge information with ease and answered every question I had. The facility felt cleaner and more sterile than any other medical facility I've been in and had more of a doctor's office feel to it than a surgical/hospital type feel - much more of an inviting atmosphere than a hospital. It's about time Saskatoon got a facility to this caliber! Thank you again to all the staff for all your hard work and attentiveness!
