After waiting a month for an emergency ear tube surgery for our one and a half year old daughter who had been unable to combat a consist two month long ear infection and had been on every antibiotic possible (none of which worked on her), the office staff called us at 6:30 the night before her surgery to tell us that we were going to own another $300 prior to her surgery the next morning. I had already schedule payments with the facility for equal payments and had everything handled and ready to go. Joslyn and Joyce (office staff/managers - who for some reason were unable to even get my name correct or my daughters name) correct informed me on a call back at 7:15pm that they had spoken with Dr. Pryor and that he would not be doing our daughters surgery if we couldn't make the $300 payment that night. They had framed magazines on their office walls indicating how wonderful the Dr. Pryor and his team were regarding putting patients and their health care first... How obvious it is when you put a measly $300 over the health of a CHILD! Not to mention customer service! HA. The team can't even get the names correct of the people they are working with and have the audacity to lie about leaving me messages for a month when the office girl had stated on that they didn't have my phone number right to begin with. These people are only about money not about people and not about practicing quality medicine. Go anywhere else but here!

While some in the medical field become oblivious to and somewhat indifferent to patients' complaints, some still have compassion, empathy, and truly listen to their patients. So, as a first time visitor to this office, I was pleasantly surprised to find his nurse smile and listen to my laundry list of issues. She smiled, listened, took notes, and seemed to genuinely care. Then, in comes the doctor, who not only shakes my hand, but tells me straight up that he cannot give me a definitive diagnosis without the lab and ultrasound results, which is accurate. He listened to my explanations about how we, in the medical field tend to minimize our obvious signs of any health related issues because "it won't happen to us." He then not only agrees with my definition of weight gain, although most people would look at me and laugh (10 lbs doesn't seem like much to some, but to those who have struggled to maintain a certain weight with 20 years of success can tell you it's a gain), he then proceeds to give his personal reason for understanding and agreeing with me. I find this doctor completely refreshing, ethical, and honest! No matter what the outcome of my test results, I will continue to recommend him to patients, friends, and family! Thanks for a wonderful experience 😊

The entire staff at Valley ENT was amazing! I was visiting from out of town and had an emergency. They were so knowledgeable, kind and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Pryor and his staff!!

AMAZING. I had my deviated septum fixed, my nasal canals expanded, palups removed and a very small bump on one side of nose shaved down. Several doctors turned me down for fixing the small bump since it was so minor. Most of my service was covered by insurance and he rewrote the insurance paper twice to get my surgery covered. I brought both of my parents to every session and we each had 20 questions and he never rushed me out. Immediately after surgery I went home to a quick recovery and he was easily reached for post surgery questions, and came in on a Saturday to remove my stuffing that was bothering me. Thank you Pryor.

My wife visited Dr. Pryor in February for a reoccurring sinus infection. The visit went quick, the Dr. saw her and recommended a CT scan. She was diagnosed and treated. The issues, as they invariably do, came when we received the bill. We were charged $257.20 (originally $432 if it wasn't for my insurance-set rates) for a nasal endoscopy. Surprised by this bill, my wife explained that the doctor never asked for her informed consent on having the procedure and was never told specifically that a "procedure" was being performed (the way it was presented, it was just part of the visit, just like a doctor looks in your ears and throat). I contacted Valley ENT's billing office on April 7 and was told that their system had just gone down, but the customer service rep had taken down all my concerns and would get in contact with Dr. Pryor's office manager, who would call me in a few days. After not hearing from anyone, I called the customer service rep back on 4/13. She apologized and gave me the same story that their system was still coming back on-line and that the office manager would call me back. Again, not hearing anything for a few days, I called back on 4/17 and the customer service rep was not in to work that day. I decided to skip the billing customer service and go straight to Dr. Pryor's office. I was finally able to get in touch with the office manager, who gave me the same boiler plate info I expected, i.e. that my wife signed a form that said they could provide her medical care and that it was the insurance that sets the rates and what gets charged to my deductible. She even said that it was the insurance that determines that a nasal endoscopy a "surgical procedure" and that they wish it was not such. I replied again that my concern was that the doctor did not get my wife's informed consent to have the procedure done to her. A nasal endoscopy, just like any other procedure, has possible side effects that should be provided to the patient so they can make an informed decision for their healthcare. The fact that it is considered by UnitedHealthcare as a "surgical procedure" makes it even more important to inform patients of what is happening, instead of making it seem like it is just a normal part of a doctor visit. I would recommend finding another ENT that has more responsible medical practices than Dr. Pryor and Valley ENT. Also, be aware that if you have any billing issue, you will be given the end-around and will ultimately be responsible for all of the costs. It amazes me that the medical field, unlike any other business, can be so deceptive with costs and how they charge you.
