I would give them 0 stars if i could. They refused to do my breast reconstruction because I was too fat. I was told to loose70lbs before they would even do anything. I guess they don't like fat people.

There was never a doubt, from visit one, that this team was engaged in my health and best possible outcome. Johnnie, Dr. Ledeaux’s assistant, made me feel that I was their only patient. Dr. Ledeaux never appeared rushed... He took all the time we needed to answer our questions and there was always a pep talk! A man of faith and a gifted surgeon. What more can I say! I have completed my breast cancer treatment.... a double mastectomy and reconstruction. I am now on the other side and made my final visit to PRMA today . . .Bittersweet. . .I hope to never see them again yet I will so miss them!

Dr Ochoa and Crystal have been amazing support from my first consult visit through surgery and recovery. Dr Ochoa’s bedside manners are caring and real. I appreciated his candor regarding who comes first! It is what made me know he was the surgeon for me. Crystal took the time throughout my recovery to answer every question thoughtfully and with kindness. I sincerely, Thank You both!!!!

Dr. Nastala performed a bilateral breast reconstruction (of my five-year-old breast cancer mastectomy reconstruction) surgery. The needed, but not emergency surgery was due to a trauma/accident; just like most reconstruction surgeries, it was not routine. My oncologist recommended PRMA and from the first appointment with Dr. Nastala, my husband and I were very pleased with the professional, kind and respectful manner he and the entire staff displayed. Dr. Nastala and his nurse Amy addressed our concerns and answered our questions. Utilizing his outstanding knowledge and instincts, Dr. Nastala provided excellent insight into the procedure and options that were available. I am extremely pleased with the experience and we are tremendously happy with my results. I would definitely suggest Dr. Nastala and the team at PRMA for all plastic surgery needs.

I have not had any interaction with this Surgeon or anyone at his office. I anm posting in response to the negative review from "Leonor Dean". I am actually doing my research on here so that i can select someone for myself. I work in the medical field and I am in nursing school. I have been reading reviews all morning (shh..dont tell my boss) and there is not a lot of bad reviews for several of these surgeons I have been looking at, well so when i came acroos the negative one on here, i was interested. I thinking finally a real review, cause not all reviews should be perfect. Reading that review from Leonor Dean had me smh. Working along side Orthopedic surgeons I knew why her weight was an issue. ANY surgery is a risk! ANY surgery that requires anesthesia is a risk! ANY procedure that requires things being stuck in you, or altered is a risk! Overweight ppl have a higher risks. If I was STILL over weight, I would have an chance of running into complications. Overweight ppl hearts worker harder to adjust to things like trauma, surgery, exercise. their whole body works harder to adjust, therefore increasing a risk for compliactions. I am sorry for that lady if they did not explain it to her that way. It really is for her safety. And to protect any doctors reputation. Also, kuddos to that group that did not take her money knowing she had increase risks for complications. I have lost 20 lbs while looking for a doc for me and I was not even overweight ..well in my eyes... The only reason why I started to get in shape is because I read that after surgery I would not be able to do much physical exercise. I didnt want to have new breast but gained even more pounds cause not being able to exercise. Anyways, i hope this post eases that ladies mind and I am really hoping that other looking for surgeons take those factors into consideration when selecting a doc. Happy hunting y'all P.S I typed real basic and used simple terms on this post because that I speak to my patients.
