I did deep research before picking this place. I wanted to do double eyelid surgery for the longest time. Ever since I knew eyelid surgery was a thing when I was in middle school and now I am in college. This place is great. The nurses there were all so nice. The doctor wasn’t rude but he was a bit hard to warm up to. I understand that he must be stressed or tired due to his busy schedule of seeing clients/patients all day. I loved my result but the reason why I didn’t give it a 5 star is because I had some scar tissues that I had to deal with about 3-4 months post surgery. I did not expect this at all. I had no knowledge of anyone having eyelid scar tissue. Another reason for why I didn’t give 5 stars was because in the middle of the night, I would wake up to my right eye feeling like something is in there. I would try to see if there was anything in there but there wasn’t anything. I didn’t think too much about it because I was still “healing”. This was happening before my eyelid scar tissue problem and after. The doctor checked on it but he said there was no sign of anything in there. No stitches left behind or anything. Could be the cause of ingrown eyelashes. But I never had this problem before the surgery. This wasn’t a big big problem but recently it started to effect me during the day time while I was driving to school/work. It was pretty scary. Some other info in case it helps someone out. I live pretty far from LA and I had to see the doctor a total of 3 times so far. Once for surgery, another for my scar tissue, and recently for something that was in my eye. I actually have some more to say but if anyone wants to talk or know more just email me. I’m still waiting to see how my right eye will continue to do. The doctor did recommend me to out in medicine into my right eye before I sleep. Let’s see how that goes! I’ll probably update this post (if I can) in a few weeks or so to see any progress.

Dr. Kim is one of the most talented doctors I've ever met. He did eyelid surgery which fits me very well. There is no pain during the surgery and he replied my concerns in time always. I'm still in the recovery and he just checked my eyes after a long day surgery. I really appreciate his great work on my eyes! Thank you Dr. Kim!

I have been getting botox injections at Dr. Kim's practice for the better part of four years now, and I have never been less than extremely satisfied. Dr. Kim is extremely professional and is attentive to the patient's wants and needs, utilizing his expertise to give one the best of possible results. During my entire time coming to Dr. Kim's practice for my injections, I have never once suffered a side effect or otherwise undesirable result. His kindness and patience always puts me at ease, and his staff are polite as well. I have nothing but praises for Dr. Kim and his staff, and I will be coming here for a long, long time.

Worst sub brow lift and rhinoplasty ever!!! My nostrils are super uneven and look terrible and even though he said a sub brow lift wouldn’t change the distance between my eyebrow and my eye during the consultation, it did. My eyebrows sit lower in my forehead and one is much lower than the other. he removed so much skin that half of my eyebrows will never grow back and I am left with uneven thin eye brows sunken eyes and permanent visibly deep scars. I also asked him not to use cartilage from my ear during the consultation and he still cut my ear and didn’t end up using it because he didn’t need to and now I can’t wear cuff earrings because the cartilage is too flat. When I expressed my concerns to him he only made it worse and left me crying. He said my nostrils were something he couldn’t fix as if that’s what they were like before and also when I told him my eyebrows were lower and I looked like a man he said “well at least you can see your whole eyelid now” I liked my eyes and nose before, I just wanted small changes and now I feel hideous.

I lived in New York but flew to Los Angeles to see Dr. Kim because he was the only one I could find that would do a under brow lift. All the other doctors only do endoscopic brow lift, which does not have the results that I wanted. I am impressed with Dr. Kim's credentials and experiences. When I met him, he knows exactly what I wanted. The overall surgery process was very smooth, pain was minimum. After a couple of months recovery, I got exactly what I envisioned and I am very happy with the results. Dr. Kim has the eyes and skills that you can trust.
