Nov 15, 2017
I had a very unfortunate experience here. I had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Cohen. I am 11 months post-op and my implants have dropped extremely and look completely deflated on top. They look terrible and uneven. I am very unhappy with them. I made a follow up appointment with Dr. Cohen and expressed my concerns with him, and I was very nice about it and told him I was not here to complain about his work, I just wanted some options of what we can do to fix it them to look the way I wanted. He told me not to do anything because "they look great" and proceeded to take photos without asking first. He thinks they "look great" but that is not how I, the person paying for them, feels about it. He never went over whether I wanted high profile or the shape. My implants are not full on the top whatsoever. He says "well there's nothing I can do about that" and says it is because I have stretch marks - which I do not. And that I have "loose skin".... which was his job to fill it. I have a child, which obviously caused the loose skin due to the fluctuating change of size during pregnancy. So women who have been pregnant apparently cannot expect to have proper results from Dr. Cohen? And yes - I am aware that they will drop over time due to gravity, but at 11 months post-op they should NOT look like this. I did not pay for a breast augmentation to look good for a couple of months. He also recommended I buy a $90 bra to wear at night to lift them up. That is what my breast augmentation was for. Then finally he says we can go back and go bigger & do high profile. After he had just said there's nothing he can do.. so I can pay for another surgery- which I will not be doing here. Do your research and choose a surgeon who will care for your concerns not only before, but also AFTER your surgery. Very unhappy with my follow up appointment and overall results. I also overpaid by $600 where as my close friend - who got the exact same type implants I did, same surgery, everything - but paid $600 less. Update 11/15/2017- I left this review last night on yelp, and this morning I received a 3 minute long voicemail from Nikki, who was my financial consultant - begging me repeatedly to delete the review, as well as laughing at me for "posting it on social media" and told me that I don't "understand" certain things about surgery. She also stated she saw my photos and thought they looked good - which I did not give Dr. Cohen permission to show my photos to anyone. I made it clear from my first appointment I did not want any of my photos to be seen. Nikki also asked repeatedly for me to call her back to see if we can come to some type of agreement. She stated that she could not give me a "free surgery" and was "telling me this right off the bat" but hoped we could talk about it. Assuming I want a free surgery or any type of surgery with this place after how I have been treated is insulting. I never asked nor wanted any free work. I would not come back here period. So in conclusion with my experience here, I have been body shamed, laughed at, and insulted. EXTREMELY unprofessional all around. This review is not to put anyone down, as I have had done to me. This is an honest review so that people can be informed before making a decision to have any procedures done here.
