About 3 years ago Dr Heinz did lower eyelid surgery on me. It turned out great. I inherited my father's puffiness under the eyes. I feel like I look so much better now. Dr Heinz and his staff are soo nice and professional. They made it a really good experience.

Dr. Heinz and his staff are the best ever! In March of 2017 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My oncology surgeon and I decided that a mastectomy was the best course of treatment for me in order to avoid chemo and radiation. After getting almost unanimous recommendations from my oncology team I chose Dr. Heinz as my reconstructive surgeon. I was very nervous at my first appointment...we found the cancer in March and surgery was scheduled in April so I was feeling overwhelmed and scared. Dr. Heinz and Caprice made me feel very welcome and safe when I arrived. Dr. Heinz was so kind...he took time to listen to me and let me express all my fears and worries...and asked questions about what I hoped my results would be. Together we decided to do immediate reconstruction and augmentation (on the non cancer breast) at the same time as my mastectomy surgery. I'm very petite and have an active lifestyle, so I didn't want large implants, and I also didn't want to have to go thru 2 separate surgeries. We discussed what size and shape would be best and agreed on small implants that would be roughly a large "B" cup. I was very happy after the consultation, but then I went home and Googled pictures of reconstruction after mastectomy surgery. Don't ever do that, haha!!! The pictures were not encouraging, to say the least, and I was very frightened about how I would look after surgery. I'm 53 years old so I didn't feel the need to be perfect, but I didn't want to look horrible either. The day of surgery came and I was so scared....I'm normally quite healthy and have never had major surgery before. Dr. Heinz came in to check on me and reassured me that everything would be ok and that he would do his very best for me. And he was right. 3 and a half months later I'm healed and the results are better than I could ever have dared to hope for. The size and shape of the implants fit my body type perfectly and are very natural looking. The reconstructed breast looks just as beautiful as the augmented side.....I literally have the breasts I wish I would have had when I was 20 years old! Dr. Heinz is a true artist and extremely skilled at what he does. During my follow up visits the entire staff made sure I knew I as supported and cared for. Caprice was fabulous! When I was experiencing some post-surgical depression Dr. Heinz reassured me that it was normal and let me cry in his office (hahaha poor guy). Thankfully the depression did subside, just as he said it would. All in all there are simply no real words to express my gratitude and appreciation for Dr. Heinz and everyone in his office. It was a challenging time in my life, but the support and encouragement I received from Dr. Heinz made the situation infinitely better. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Anyone who is considering plastic surgery should look no further than Dr. Heinz.

(This review is being written 4 weeks after my surgery.) Prior to Surgery: I lost a saline implant - it ruptured because it was 17 years old. I began making phone calls around town, scheduled several consultations, including Dr Heinz. During our consultation, I noticed that he was interested in addressing my concerns, he made me feel comfortable & even my husband who also attended the consultation kept saying for weeks how much he liked him. I appreciate that he is an honest doctor; he gave me the good, the bad & the ugly right up front. As time passed, I became more & more unsettled with the surgery. I called & spoke to Caprice. I expressed my concern & wanted to cancel the whole thing. She let me know that it is always up to me to carry out this elective surgery & she was able to calm my fears by giving me her reassuring advice. Day of Surgery: I was so scared, but I had done everything Dr Heinz had instructed me to do & arrived at the surgery center, taking long, deep breaths. I was greeted by the nursing staff, the anesthesiologist & Dr Heinz. We discussed my final questions, they began "the relaxing juice" through my i.v. & I was off for surgery. I was completely comfortable the entire time. I was awakened slowly & given 2 granola bars. This was awesome because I had been instructed not to eat after midnight the night prior. My husband drove me home & I got some more rest for the remainder of the day. After Surgery: My healing/recovery didn't go perfectly; I did experience some issues that were no one's fault, really. (I say that only because I don't want you to read this review & think that I had a perfect experience & chose to write this long review!) I can say with 100% certainty that I am thrilled that I chose Dr Heinz & his professional team for my surgery! I have called for advice, come in for a spur-of-the-moment check up & have continued to experience the honesty & professionalism of Dr Heinz & his staff. Knowing what I know now, I wish I would have had more trust in Dr Heinz & his staff earlier in this process. It would have made the whole thing easier on myself. I feel that Dr Heinz & his team are willing to go the extra mile for me. This experience has forced me to have a greater respect for plastic surgeons. I even sent 2 Thank You Cards, 1 to the Surgery Center & 1 to Dr Heinz, along with a silly picture of me that was taken on the morning of surgery. Lol! Best wishes on selecting your plastic surgeon. I definitely recommend this one.
