While on a business trip to the east coast (I live in San Diego), I injured my thumb significantly. Having been a patient of Dr. Patel's in the past, I contacted him immediately for guidance regarding the severity of my injury and the best course of action. He responded immediately, requesting pictures and talking me through my options. As a holiday weekend was approaching, and I had yet another business trip scheduled for the following week,I was concerned that I would not be able to find a local hand surgeon to treat me when I got home. Dr. Patel offered to see me that very same day if I could catch a flight down to Orlando. He also referred me to a reputable surgeon in Washington DC where I was conducting my business. I was able to make it to Florida the next day and he made room in his busy schedule to treat my thumb. His staff was responsive, working through all of the requisite paperwork and insurance via email before I arrived. He and his team stayed late into the night in the surgery center to treat me after their previously scheduled operations were complete. During the healing process Dr. Patel checked in on me regularly and my thumb is now back to normal. No scarring, full functionality, and no residual pain. Thank you Dr. Patel!

Dr. Anup Patel is an exceptional doctor. He treated my 6 year-old son who had a face injury and was really nervous. Dr. Patel instantly calmed us all with his demeanor and knowledge. In a situation like this, it is comforting to know you have the best trained and most reputable doctor working on your family member but also one who clearly cares about making us feel comfortable and important. He answered all our questions and never rushed us. And the results..... incredible! We are so thankful that we decided to drive over 2 hours to see him, he’s the only doctor we’d trust!

Dr. Anup Patel is a star surgeon. We took my mother to another surgeon prior to coming to Dr. Patel at a very well known practice in Orlando for a wrist injury. We had no knowledge of the details around what she needed done and the repair and was simply told she could be booked for surgery. I did my research after being unsure about her going through with this there and luckily landed upon finding Dr. Patel. I was impressed by his very impressive background and we booked an appointment. Upon meeting him, he gave a very detailed explanation to us about her injury and how he would plan on treating it and every detail around the procedure. This was completely different from our other experience and gave my mother confidence she was in good hands. Not only was he very informative, he understood surgery is a big deal and made himself available to us providing us with his email address. We emailed some questions and he got back to us within 2 hours on the WEEKEND. If you want a dedicated surgeon who truly cares and has an amazing education (do your research and your doctors, so many are over blown but, Dr. Patel's accolades aren't something anyone can just have...my mother commented he seemed young, but I was able to see he has marked his lifetime with dedication to medicine, plastic surgery and hand surgery). Once he completed surgery, he called me in the evening to check on her. I have never experienced this level of service and it is another example of his true dedication to all his patients. Without making this even longer, I need to add that after he successfully relieved her of pain in her wrist after surgery she decided to have him remove skin cancer and reconstruct on her face. He did such a great job that not one person can see how large of chunk was removed on her face (you can imagine...the face is an area you want to ensure you have someone very good near). He is absolutely the best plastic surgeon and hand surgeon and just an overall good human.

I would award Dr. Patel 10 stars if permitted. He recently operated on a persistent problem with my left thumb. The procedure was done on an outpatient basis and I was very impressed with the professionalism and competence of the assisting staff. Dr. Patel is an exceptional surgeon that combines a very high level of expertise and focus on the procedure while maintaining an open, straightforward rapport with the patient. I am happy to give Dr. Patel my highest recommendation.

I had my first breast augmentation performed in 2007. I had them redone by another surgery center here in Orlando in July 2018. That surgery left me with dimpling and pain one month post surgery. I felt the surgeon butchered me. I had a chronic rash as well. He left me with scars that went no where and an OP report that was false. His staff was terribly rude and always rushed me in and out and even tore my bra and bandages off of me the next morning post OP.!. My husband and I were determined to find the Best Reconstruction Surgeon’s in the state of FL. After many consultations and stress we landed in Dr. Patel’s office. The reason I chose his practice was because I saw his videotaped surgeries posted on YouTube. He exposed his true gifts for the world to see. The fact that he uses a no touch, surgical funnel approach to insert implants caught my attention. He works with another surgeon. Two gifted surgeons working on you is better than one. Less exposure to infection, two view points on symmetry and four eyes and different experiences that they both bring to the process. They are extremely gentle with how they handle their patients emotional state. They give of their time. They fixed my horrific and not easy case. They help guide me to trust that what will happen while I am in their care will be a positive experience and result. Just meeting them both will put you at ease. They do not offer false promises they simply live and work by the Golden Rule: Honor comes first. These two men did and I believe give their best to every single patient that crosses their path. Their true belief system is unmatched. My results are fabulous. I went from a wrecked, high profiled, botched Barbie doll to a natural looking woman. They even choose to go a little bigger in size to round out the fullness. To drop the breasts down and to give them the perfect shape. I couldn’t be happier with the entire staff! I hope I never have to have this redone for any reason, but if I do I know where to go....
