I went in for an appointment as a new patient. The service was very quick and the Doctor gave me good information and I am waiting on the follow up within two weeks. The Nurse Anna was very friendly and quick. She was constantly making sure I was ok. I enjoyed my first experience with the Doctor and all the staff at Mid Florida Dermatology.

I think the doctors are great but the support staff isn’t the best or brightest! After having several appointments they still had trouble addressing my needs. As a health care professional myself I believe in making health care as simple and stream line as possible for every patient. Educating patients is also essential in optimizing results. Supportive staff should be proactive and ensure all patients are ready for their appointments which can be expensive. I believe this office needs to educate staff and set better care standards! I gave three starts for the compassion of one provider who was outstanding and she’s why I return.

Took forever for the doctor to come in once the nurse called me in and got my information. Dont suggest this place if you are looking for a time efficient visit.

AVOID "DR." MICHAEL GUTIERREZ!! If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I experienced EXACTLY what the other patients that left him reviews experienced. He was rude, condescending and generally unpleasant to speak with. Him and his nurse barely let me get a word in as he belittled me for coming into the office without having something he could culture/diagnose. When I was explaining my situation and why I came in he interrupted me and said I was being disrespectful and he wasn't going to help me. Him and his nurse didn't ever really seem to care to hear my whole story or what antibiotics I had already taken previously. Overall it was a pretty humiliating, frustrating, disappointing experience. And honestly, it seems to me like any of the reviews giving more than 2 stars is probably a paid review to boost his rating. I thought maybe I caught him on a bad day but after reading other reviews now I see that's just who he really is. He probably has a low wait room time and a flexible schedule because nobody wants to be his patient. Who would?! IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: That guy is not nice and after finding out he is the founder and CEO of your company I will NEVER be visiting again. Bragging about the "countless awards" he and your medical group have been nominated for doesn't mean a thing to me. Being book smart does not mean you can be condescending and belittle people in need. He may have been a great doctor at one point, but as far as I'm concerned it certainly isn't the case any longer. Good day.

Thank you so much for getting me in so quickly (I called yesterday to make an appointment because I was nervous about a sunspot). Maria Kabushinskaya was so nice and informative. I definitely walked out feeling well taken care of. Being that I am a new patient, you never know what to expect and their services exceeded my expectations.
