Had to come to this location, usually go to the one in Largo. Worst experience ever. Been waiting almost 2 hours and they claim computers are down. They had my 8 year old’s birthdate entered into the system as born wrong month and day in 2015 which would make her 3 years old. The nurse acted like it was her first day, I had to advise her how to enter data. Cheap linoleum floor, filthy badly painted baseboards and the bathroom smelled like urine because there was urine all over the floor and poop smeared all over the toilet. Next time I’ll wait 2 weeks to get an appointment at the very nice Largo location.

Horrible experience from start to finish. Extended wait in office to be seen. Nurse practicioner seemed very uninterested in my concerns. Asked for specific prescription but was told she was prescribing alternative from compounding pharmacy despite concerns over cost. Rushed through secondary concern. Was told to call back if rx was too costly. Called later that day to say I couldn’t afford $60 for what was prescribed and asked again about original medication requested that would have been $5 a month. Was told I would get a call back. Called and left another message on Tuesday with no call back. Called third time on Thursday and call was finally returned to say no other options available and medication I originally asked for is not something they prescribe which no one bothered telling me during original appointment. All in all, horrible experience and will not be returning. Also informed my primary of the encounter since they refer all their patients here.

Dr. Maria Garcia-Cardona did a full body scan and discovered a small dark, slightly raised blemish on the back of my arm. Since there was no lump and I couldn't feel it, and I wouldn't have seen it, I could have gone on for quite a while without getting the needed treatment for it. She asked me if she could take a biopsy. It was diagnosed as a melanoma. As soon as she got the results, she called me. Dr. Cardona rearranged her schedule to get me an appointment before the holidays the following week. Dr. Cardona surgically removed the melanoma and the area surrounding it. She took her time to suture the wound and intentionally made a number of small stitches so that the scarring would be minimal. I am grateful that she caught the skin cancer early, had me in for surgery as soon as possible, and was very skilled in removing the melanoma and stitching up the wound..

The condition that brought me to the doctor's office was diagnosed and medications were prescribed. My complaint, however, is my one hour and 40 minute wait to be seen by the nurse practitioner. After complaining about the extended wait time I was told that their "computers are down." For me, this is unacceptable. This practice is not the only one for me to choose from. I will not return here or recommend this place to anyone else.
