Dr. Anthony Bared, M.D - Facial Plastic Surgeon

This doctor is phenomenal! I'll start by saying that the communication with pictures is very helpful! First at the consultation for my rhinoplasty I explained exactly what the problem was and what I was looking to fix, I also had realistic expectations for a natural look and outcome, so Dr. Bared explained what I was hoping for was actually feasible. He took several pictures of my nose, then he provided some edited / modified pictures to show me what the outcome would look like. Of course the pictures are just a form of communication to reassure that you and the doctor are both on the same page and right track. But the edited pictures definitely helped me to know that he understood well what I was expecting and what we were trying to achieve. On the day of the surgery everything went really well! Went home on the same day. My nose was stuffy and congested, but that feeling is completely normal. For me, the congestion felt like the same sensation as a cold or a flu, particularly for me it stayed congested for about a whole week, but the feeling of congestion got better and better every day. So as days go on, the congestion & the swelling both decrease little by little. I will say that doctor Bared has the best hands for stitches!!! He was made for this profession! Hands down, absolutely amazing work with the stitches! I can't stress this enough, the sutures were done very delicately and with a lot of precision! Right now it's only been 2 weeks since my surgery, but I can already tell the incision mark is healing very well, and I don't think it'll be visible when it's fully healed. As far as the outcome, since it's only been 2 weeks post op, my nose will continue to swell down as weeks go on, that's also normal. But thus far, my nose looks really great even it stayed like it is right now. I am super happy with the outcome. The shape (both front and side profile) came out extremely well, as expected and as discussed. A personal friend in the medical field recommended me to him because of the great quality of his work, and now that I had a surgery with him, I would recommend him to anyone too. I can't express enough how happy I am that I decided on Dr. Bared for my surgery :)

Well, clumsy me tripped, hit my face and broke my nose, on a holiday weekend. Dr Bared was recommended by a nurse friend, who said he was both meticulous and very good. She was correct on both counts. His staff got me in quickly and scheduled my surgery within the two week window after the break. All my appointments were managed well, with little waiting time. Although Dr Bared noted my break was more severe than it initially looked, the surgery went smoothly and recovery was uneventful, with no complications. My nose looks great, and I can breathe much better. Dr. Bared was very kind and gentle, and I would highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr. Bared and his staff went above and beyond to ensure my emergent surgery to repair a previously botched surgery was a success before I left for the Naval Academy. I credit them with giving me the ability to succeed in everything I am about to encounter at the Academy, given the fact I can actaully breathe through my nose now. I look forward to chasing my dreams to become a Naval Aviator without a doubt in my mind over the former hole in my septum. I would highly recommend this surgeon and his staff to anyone and everyone looking to experience medicine as it should truly be; caring, and stress free.

I had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Anthony Bared. I am extremely pleased with the results. He removed the bump visible from the profile view of my nose and gave me the slope that I wanted. He also made the tip of my nose more defined, as it was too bulbous for my liking before the surgery. Everyone in his office is lovely, and I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes past my appointment times for post-op check ups and injections. They make you feel at home each and every time I walk in and even remember you by name. Dr. Bared is very compassionate and empathetic and I am glad I chose him to do my first cosmetic procedure. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.
