Absolutely disorganized and clueless. I had originally made a consult appointment for 4/4/18 for one of their locations near us. I was called the morning of the appointment, and was told that the practitioner at that location doesn’t see children under 2 years of age. This despite the scheduler having been given our child’s date of birth. I was given an apology, and told that a physician at the Brandon location (Dr. Lack) does see infants, so I made an appointment for that location for 4/17/18. I’m an Oncologist, and took the day off, also scheduling two other appointments for our child on the same day. I received a text notification on 4/13 reminding me about the appointment with Dr. Lack on 4/17, but at the Fowler avenue location. I called the schedulers asking if this was a mistake, because I was told by the scheduler over the phone that the appt would be in Brandon. She reassured me that he definitely goes to the Fowler office. Upon arriving here, we realized that the office isn’t even open on Tuesdays. I called the scheduling line, and was told that the appointment was to be in Brandon, and that Dr. Lack definitely doesn’t go to the Fowler avenue office. To make matters worse, this person informed me that the practitioner at the Fowler location sees people of ALL ages anyway. What a waste of time!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They put you at ease. I will definitely have my annual skin check at Advanced Dermatology next year.

The clinical visit went well at first, but when the liquid nitrogen tank broke down, the PA said she would call in a prescription for a cream to be applied daily. When the medication did not arrive, I contacted the pharmacy, only to be told that the order had never been received. Two subsequent attempts to reach the Advanced Dermatology office resulted in frustration: The voice message asked me to leave my name and telephone number, which I did on both occasions. Result: no call-back.

This office is only open 2 days every 2 weeks, so getting someone on the phone is near impossible. I paid a copay to show the doctor an area that needed to be treated and was told I had to come back and pay another copay once my insurance approved the procedure. My husband went in after I did and was able to have everything done in one visit - this makes no sense because we are on the same plan. My husband had a biopsy done and noone called him to give the results. After a few weeks we called and asked for the results. Now I have received a bill for a copay that I already paid while I was in the office the last time I was there. Major administrative problems here.
