I went to get an urgent appointment because I had an allergic reaction to something on my face. Because they didn't like my out of state BC/BS insurance, they told me that their ONLY appointment was in a month!! I could have paid cash, but they still wouldn't take me- even though my own sister is a patient there! So be careful people, if you have insurance that they don't like!!!

Had my first time visit about a week ago. I arrived a little early because i knew i would have forms to fill out and i did the job. Fortunately, this group belongs to a web medical database that i belong to so much of the usual paperwork did not have to be done. I waited very little time before i was called into an examining room where i was politely asked if i would mind having a medical student do a preliminary examination and i agreed. A very nice young student/intern/resident(?) did do a thorough examination of my entire body looking for anything that might be problematic, took notes and made some markings of 'stuff' that might be suspicious. I waited about 5 minutes and Doctor Miller came in with a retinue consisting of, besides him, the student and a nurse. Dr. Miller went over the student's notes and then did his own thorough examination (even between my toes!). Besides the two skin abnormalities i came in to be diagnosed, he also found a suspect spot on my face and one on my back. With my permission, he treated all areas needing treatment, gave me post-procedure instructions, sent samples off to be examined for malignancies and sent me home quite satisfied that i had been seen and treated by real dermatology professionals with thoughtfulness and respect.

When I made an appointment to have some brown things removed from my face, I was quoted the price up to $95. The woman who dabbed something on my face charged me $125. As for the things on my face, I picked them off myself later. - I was misdiagnosed as having an allergy when I actually had scabies, as confirmed by a scabies specialist near Bay Front Hospital. - My husband and I have been to Bay Dermatology in the past, and we were satisfied with those previous visits.
