Aguiar Plastic Surgery & Medical Spa

I am posting this review again to make sure others see it and don't have to go through the pain and suffering that I did. I have since gone else where and had the mess that Dr. Aguiar made of my breasts corrected. Please do your research before choosing a surgeon. Below is the review about my experience with Dr. Aguiar and his office. I am writing this review to share the dreadful experience and prevent others from having to go through what I have had to endure at Aguiar Plastic Surgery. I had a breast implant exchange with Dr. Aguiar on 3/15/17. From my first post surgery follow up appointment I expressed my concerns with the appearance of my left breast and the burning, stabbing pain I was experiencing. Each time I mentioned it I was told I needed to give it some time to heal and it would most likely resolve itself. It is now July. I have been to my 3 month post op appointment. At the appointment Dr. Aguiar finally agreed with me that the left breast was noticeably lower than the right one & that there is rippling in both breasts. Dr. Aguiar now says that another surgery will be necessary to correct everything. He offered his services at no charge but I would still be responsible for an implant fee, surgery center fee and anesthesia fee. I needed some time to process this information. How do you trust a doctor to do a second surgery for you when he couldn't get it right the first time?? Since last week I have been contacting their office daily, trying to get through to speak to Dr. Aguiar's office manager. I have contacted Dr. Aguiar's office at least 6 times either via email or phone calls but no one will get back to me. On one occasion, I was told by the nurse that the office manager was given my message but "she must have forgot to call you." From the beginning I was treated with unprofessional behavior and lack of concern. I am still, to this day, experiencing debilitating pain at times that causes a disruption to my daily livelihood. My hope in sharing this information is that this disservice does not happen to anyone else.

I've been going to Dr. Aguiar for at least 10 years for various things. Very consistent service and care. He always understands what I want/need whether it is a mole removed, botox or fillers. A few years ago, I injured my thumb. I mentioned it in passing to one of the staff and learned he was also a hand surgeon. He quickly diagnosed my thumb issue and treated it. I've referred many people to Dr. Aguiar over the years and everyone has always been happy.

The best doctor & staffs. Was treated particular area and healing awesome. I was so vulnerable when I went in for the firs time with so much concern & pain. But I got the best treatment, I can't be happier than this. Very thankful.

Very welcoming environment in the office. Dr. Aguiar is always professional and willing to listen and offer the best advice going forward.
