Dr. Amy K. Alderman, MD

My experience with Dr. Alderman was excellent from start to finish. She really listened to me during my initial consultation and came up with an individualized plan for a mini abdominoplasty while also repairing my abdominal separation & hernia (due to pregnancy.) I am extremely happy with the results! Dr. Alderman is kind and compassionate and really takes into account your personal needs and lifestyle to ensure you look and feel your best - not just a one size fits all approach. Her entire staff is also wonderful and were super supportive and put me at ease during the entire process. If you are looking for a plastic surgeon for a mommy makeover, I highly recommend Dr. Alderman.

I am so thrilled with my breast lift and augmentation at North Atlanta Plastic Surgery!! I can not say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Alderman, Dr Joiner and all the nurses and Staff!! They are a fantastic group who makes you feel important, loved and cared for through out the process. My procedure went flawless and my results are way beyond my expectations even though I felt completely confident in Dr Alderman as an experienced and accomplished physician. She is beyond great at what she does and her staff is the cream of the crop! I will continue to visit the Spa at NAPS and use Dr Alderman for and future procedure I have. They are simply the best!!

Absolutely loved Dr. Alderman and her staff. Everyone was so very generous. I had a mommy makeover with Dr. Alderman at the end of August and love my results. My only regret is that I did not have this procedure done sooner. My scar is minimal and everything turned out great. After 10 consultations I am so glad I made Dr. Alderman my final decision. She did an amazing job.

So first off I want to say I was never asked to post a review. I am doing this review because I think so highly of both Dr. Amy Alderman and Dr. Aida Joiner. I had wanted my surgery (tummy tuck with muscle repair and breast lift w/augmentation) for 12 years. I was close to having it a few years ago and was unable to due to a sudden health issue. I had previously met with a surgeon and even had the surgery scheduled. When I finally got back to a healthy place where I could have the surgery, I decided to research some more on a surgeon and decided to at least meet with Dr. Alderman. I wanted to at least check my options. From the moment I spoke with her surgical coordinator on the phone (who spent an hour on the phone with me answering questions) I felt at ease. At my consultation I meet with her surgical nurse first who talked to me about my goals and helped explain that I actually needed a different procedure than I was originally recommended for. Taking your clothes off is never comfortable at a doctor office but I felt like I was in a room with close friends and that it was totally normal. Dr. Alderman came and met with me and she is such a warm and calm person. She isn’t in your face and telling you to get more done than what you want. She has a very laid back attitude and you can just tell she loves what she does. My case was very complicated due to health problems and I was unable to meet the anesthesiologist at my appt but Dr. Joiner called me and talked to me on the phone for an hour and we went over all my medical history and she made me feel very secure. They worked with my other doctors to make sure the whole team knew what was going on. The day of surgery Dr. Joiner was able to give me something for nerves. Dr. Alderman made me feel like I was part of her family and I went into the OR very at peace. After surgery Dr. Alderman called my husband and checked on me 2 times. She answered all our questions. Michelle, the Pre-Op / Post-Op nurse is absolutely incredible. I think I emailed her at least ten times with my crazy anxious questions. My husband and I just love her. She is one of the sweetest and kindest people we have ever met. I am now 6 weeks out and I am so beyond happy with my results and they will just keep getting better. I literally have went through my entire wardrobe trying on my clothes because they fit so much different now it’s like a whole new wardrobe. If you are looking for a doctor who has the knowledge, experience and staff to make you feel like you are getting first class service while delivering outstanding results, I highly suggest Dr. Alderman and Dr. Joiner. You won’t regret it. The whole office is a happy place to be with all the smiling faces and kind hearts. If I need anything else done in the future Dr. Alderman will be who I see.

I want to start off by saying that I don’t typically leave reviews, but my experience with Dr. Alderman and her incredible staff has been nothing short of amazing that I felt it absolutely necessary to give her the credit that she deserves (and hopefully help others in their search for a plastic surgeon). I had been contemplating a breast augmentation for quite some time, but I was extremely picky because the idea of ultimately not receiving the results I desired made me nervous. I had several consultations before I finally found Dr. Alderman, and it was the first time I left a doctor’s office thinking, “this is it”. She is so professional (her bedside manner is superb) yet so relatable (I found comfort in the fact that as a woman she could understand my insecurities), she listens to your desired outcome(s), and she will provide you with honest feedback. I was one of those patients who was pretty fickle (I didn’t want to be too big and didn’t want to be too small), but she listened and delivered the most amazing results… even better than I could have anticipated. Even though she is a prestige doctor with extensive experience, the best part through this process is that she has also become a friend... the kind who cares for you and has your best interest at heart. I truly believe that I wasn’t just a surgery for her; I was someone who she genuinely wanted to exceed expectations in order to restore my confidence. From the front desk to the financial coordinator to her amazing nurses, I couldn’t have had a more positive experience. I am so happy I chose Dr. Alderman and her team because I know I was in the absolute best hands!
