A doctor that prays before his procedures gets five stars in my book, which is not enough to rate Dr Ladipo and his staff. My experience with Dr Ladipo was nothing short of excellent and I have recommended him to family and friends. Dr Ladipo has a warm bedside manner, he is attentive and knowledgeable, which made me feel comfortable in choosing him as my doctor. Having a doctor and staff know your name when you walk into the door, allows for a great relationship. I highly recommended Dr. Ladipo.

I started coming to Atlantic Cosmetic Surgery and MedSpa for laser hair removal treatment for my legs and arms in November after hearing amazing reviews about Dr. Ladipo from Dr. Miami’s snapchat stories. Over the past five sessions, I have experienced some sort of discomfort (burns) after the procedure every single time. I have also noticed patchiness of my hair growth - some areas still have thick hair growth and I have seen little to no difference in those areas, and some areas have definitely been forgotten while treatment was given because there is a clear and split distinction where you can clearly see that the area was untouched by the laser. This leads me to the conclusion that the laser hair removal technicians at this facility are not experienced with laser hair removal, a treatment that Atlantic Cosmetic Surgery and MedSpa clearly offers and advertises. As for the burns, in the first four sessions i only got small burns on the elbow area apparently because it is “over the bone” as i was told by the technician every time i brought it up. The last time I went for treatment was in May, and I received treatment from a new lady who I had never seen before. At first before she even started the laser hair removal treatment, I was clear with her about getting burned in the past and how my previous technician was not thorough with all of the areas on my legs and arms. She reassured me that she would make sure to go over all of the areas of hair growth on my legs and arms. At the time of treatment, it is impossible to know whether all areas have been treated, because you have to shave the areas before you come in for the appointment. I only saw what a half-job, that I paid for, I was left with a few weeks after when the hair started to grow in the areas where she apparently forgot to do the treatment on. Towards the end of the session as she was doing my hands, i got burned twice by the laser and large bubbles started to form on my hands. All the laser technician said to me was to not pop them otherwise scars would form. I was in way more pain due to these burns, and they affected my everyday activities because i was afraid of them popping. I had been told by many that burns like these were “unacceptable in the skincare industry” and 3 weeks after my appointment, the burns were still not healed; therefore i went to my primary physician for medical attention. My doctor was appalled by the burns, and was shocked that the laser place I went to even allowed this to happen. Overall, I believe that Atlantic Cosmetic Surgery and MedSpa does not follow proper protocol for laser hair removal, for the most part. Their front desk staff was unhelpful as well as they were simply just defending themselves when I asked why these burns were not healed and why I was burned.
