I had a breast reduction done with Dr Shore about a year ago. I waited a full year to write a review because I didnt want to be biased in my review. Before my surgery, i explicitly told her my expectations as to cup sizes and she said she would try her best. 1. The result of my surgery was a cup size four times away from what i wanted. The result of surgery was that i went down a dress size. A dress size for all that money and pain? Most people didnt even realize there was something different about me. 2. One of my breast was significantly bigger than the other. I complained to her about this and she said it was swelling. it's been more than a year and the "swelling" hasnt gone down. What pissed me off the most was when i complained the big difference in my breast size and what were opinions were, she recommended a liposuction and said they would try and get insurance to cover it which was nearly impossible. She didnt even offer an option of giving me a discount for messing up my breast. 3. My scars still hurt, i still have back pain and shoulder pain, all these i expected to go away from a breast reduction. I still have this because she didnt take away enough breast fat. Would i go back to Dr Shore for anything, No.

Her and Giselle were always so warm, welcoming and accepting. That's a great thing in our community. As a FTM patient that was a very important factor. They were always great with answering questions, making conversation and working with difficult insurance companies. They both work so hard and it really shows! Both my partner and I had our chest surgeries done by Dr.Shore recently (October & December 2016). She made sure to answer any & all questions we had. We are so happy with the work she did and the care we received before & after. In an emergency she was very easy to get a hold of, even on holidays. (I did feel terrible about having to call on Christmas but emergencies are emergencies, right?) Anyways, Sure there are scars, with a surgery like this there are bound to be, but did her best to keep them down & pulled them off very well. It just takes time for them to fade & flatten completely. Both of ours are already fading & flattening quite nicely. Seriously, I recommend her to my fellow trans people, she is wonderful, and it really shows how much both of them care. I know both of us have more confidence than ever in ourselves! 5 of 5 for sure!

If I could give a rating higher than 5 stars, I would! Dr.Shore and her right-hand-woman Giselle (receptionist) are absolutely incredible. Dr.Shore was great about focusing all of her attention on me. She has 1, and only 1, examination room. With this, she was able to make me feel comfortable, and let me ask as many questions as my heart desired (I ask LOTS of them!). She was sure to be absolutely perfect and precise with every little thing she did. It assured me that my surgery was going to go perfectly, and have even more perfect results. I had a breast reduction surgery. I started out at a 30G, and with the surgery, went down to a 30D (or DD if you wear Victoria's Secret bras). I have had very little pain, and she's been great about contacting for ANY concern I may have (I luckily didn't have any). Giselle, too, is absolutely wonderful! She's incredibly bubbly and sweet, and always has a smile on her face when I walk in. I could continue forever about Dr.Shore and her practice--truly amazing! If you're second guessing anything--STOP. Go with Dr.Shore. You won't regret it!

In my opinion if you are an African-American female do not go to Dr. Shore. She performed my breast lift and left me with 2 nasty scars one on each side of my breast. Instead of removing all the loose skin from under my arm pits she left it hanging where you can see the incisions and the nasty long scar. I feel botched. I recently lost approximately 200lbs and my insurance referred me to her because I am an Advocate patient. My insurance paid her 39,000.00 dollars to botch my breast. She deserves ZERO stars put it would not let me post unless I picked a star.
