I am six weeks out from my procedure done at the Gillian institute by Dr Kim Short. I can not say enough good things about my experience there. I wish I could remember the names of all of the staff members, as every single one of them have been very kind and professional. Jackie is totally amazing. She has gone over and above to be sure that I and my husband understand everything about my surgery and recovery. Also the two nurses that stayed overnight with me-- Misty and Jessica-- were terrific. I'm sure I was a handful, as i am an RN myself. I am pleased with the results of my procedure, though I'm still healing. Dr Short worked her magic on me, and I would not go to anyone else for my beauty touch ups. She and her staff are top notch providers, with a gorgeous facility. Thanks to all of you!! I now feel like family.

Dr Short and her staff is amazing. My recovery time and healing was very good and quick. I did everything they said. If I had any questions they answered them (even the first day at home we had questions and called and they answered it right away). I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Gillian Center. Staff was really great each time I went in for my appointment.

I had an amazing experience here! From the very first consultation appointment to all of the follow-up post-op appointments I was always met with a smile and all the ladies in the office took the time to get to know me. I never had a problem getting an appointment and when I had questions prior to the procedure, I was even able to talk to Dr. Short on the phone. I highly recommend Dr. Short and her team for any kind of breast surgery. She really took the time to find out exactly what my goal was and what my likes and dislikes were and came up with a plan to achieve that. I trusted her to give me what I wanted and she absolutely delivered!

Dr Short did Lypo on my legs many years ago. Had asked she only do the outer top of my thighs. She did my entire upper thigh all around and part of my back without my permission. It nearly killed me and ruined the looks of my thighs. She said she’s known for being aggressive. That’s not what I asked for and have regretted it every day since. She doesn’t care about her patients.

My experience at The Gillian Institute was wonderful. Three of my family members have had breast augmentations by Dr. Short. They were very happy with their results & still are to this day. So I knew I was in good hands. During my consultation, they fully explained what the steps would be before, during, and after my surgery. My BA was my very first surgery. The day of my surgery was truly a breeze. While I was getting prepped for surgery the nurses did a great job at making sure I was comfortable & relaxed. After surgery I was sent home with medication to help with pain, which made recovery a lot easier & pain free. I went from an A cup to a large C (375cc) under the muscle. Its been two weeks since my surgery & I couldn’t be more happy with my results. Dr. Short did an amazing job & for the first time in my life I feel confident about myself. I would highly recommend a consultation with Dr. Short. I will definitely be returning for my future beauty needs!
