My 83 year old mother had an operation on her left thumb because it had turned black. That surgery didn't work so she was told to see this "doctor" (I won't say what I think but as they say: if it looks like a duck, it sounds like a duck). He didn't do surgery to correct what a "general surgeon" had done, but he did numb her thumb *painful* and IN HIS OFFICE, he sliced more of her thumb off. Can anyone say UNETHICAL? He has not been a good doctor to her. If you want a real doctor, I beg you, do NOT see this one. Looks are deceiving in this case.

Dr. Baraban did my carpal tunnel surgery. I received no relief at all and when I had my follow up apt and explained it didn't help and I actually had additional wrist pain, his only comment was "I guess you are firing me". This was in 2009, my pain is so bad now I'm looking for another Dr to see if there is anything more that can be done. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Baraban for carpal tunnel relief. Karen Oxandale
