Okay, so where do I start ? I had an breast reduction done by Dr.Spittler last March. Let’s just say the amount of frustration I’ve went through with this practice is unbelievable. I had to go back and have another surgery done due to my breast being two different sizes. I was told repeatedly by him that it was “ swelling “ but I could see my breast was two different sizes even after 5 months post op. At first he wasn’t trying to go back and fix it because , he kept trying to feed me it’s still “ swelling “ bs. He really tried to get over on me because , I guess he didn’t think I would notice. Mind you I referred my friend to him before all of this happened and she too had to go back and have another surgery done on her breast due to hers being two totally different sizes. Hers was way worst than mine because , one was lifted & the other one was saggy almost like he didn’t even operate on it. He had another doctor operating on me as well with him. Which he claimed would “ save time “. But my thing is how could my breast be the same size when you have two different sets of eyes operating on me ? He then was trying to operate on me to fix my breast in the exam room under NO anesthesia. I told him NO ! I need to be put to sleep, the area was too big to operate on. Then, somehow he was trying to get me to pay for him to fix my breast when clearly he’s the doctor and this is his mistake ! My mom had to get involved and she called his office to speak with him & the office manager. Mind you I’m still on my parents insurance.Nobody, returned her calls. She then had to threaten to call the insurance on him to let them know what was going on. Once , he got wind that she was contacting our insurance he called her back. Then , Nancy ! She will hound you down for money if you have a balance on your account. I had a balance on my account due to my yearly deductible of $1300. Mind you they gave me an estimated total of my balance which was around $1900 and I was told by them to wait and see how much the insurance covers before i start making payments. I told them those are two different balances. But they still was insisting that i pay the $1900. When the insurance finally cleared it brought my balance down to $1300. Due to financial circumstances & me being unemployed I’m unable to pay the whole balance. I’ve told them numerous times my situation. Every time I go in there Nancy , is literally chasing me down for money. I couldn’t even get dressed in private because, she was busting through the exam room today when I went in there. This was her EXACT words to me. “ My husband is unemployed and we’ll be paying a hospital bill off for 7 years but still every month I write a check “. I was like wow how unprofessional is that? I went on to explain to her everyone’s financial circumstances are different. She then proceeds to say to me that’s why I should’ve paid my balance in full before the surgery to avoid situations like this. The fact that Dr. Spittler condones this type of behavior from his staff is ridiculous. I wouldn’t refer NOBODY else to him or go back to have anything else done by him. Then , the receptionist Kirsten , says to me when I was checking out “ So, are you going to pay your balance or what ?” Mind, you she’s getting nasty and loud out in the waiting area where the other patients are sitting. I told her i didn’t appreciate her speaking to me like that and I had to leave because, at that point she was becoming really aggressive.

Being 35 and deal with breast cancer, Dr. Spittler and his staff made me feel like family. They were there for me through 3 surgeries (almost a year). Dr. Spittler treated me as if I was his own not to mention the beautiful work he did each time I needed surgery. I’m blessed to have had him on my team of surgeons!

Having breast cancer and going through a double mastectomy. Dr. Spittler provided me with wonderful care and did an outstanding job on my reconstruction. Today was my last visit and I must say it's bitter sweet. Thank you Dr. Spittle and staff for taking such good care of me.
