My long experience can verify to you that Dr. Z is the Top oculoplast in the entire U.S. My eye tendons had been cut from a poor unnecessary surgery. I traveled over the entire country, saw over 25 doctors, many with high profiles. The few who worked on me did incorrect damaging procedures that demised my eyes more, and the rest refused to work on me, or tried to push other things onto me unrelated to the problem. My journey lasted over 6 years with pain, financial loss, and vision demise. I came by Dr. Z by accident. He is a hidden gem. He's an extremely humble guy & his skills are unmatched ANYWHERE. He meticulously measured and looked at prior photographs to recreate the connection and vectors of my original eyes. He is the ONLY doctor who did not dismiss my assessment, treated me with respect, worked with me as a professional, and fixed the problem. His assistant Megan is the best. She wears many hats, has the patience of a saint, is efficient, and sweet. Finding this team is like finding plutonium.

I only trust my face to Dr. Zatezalo - he is incredibly well trained (top institutions from medical school to residency to fellowship), innovative, and very personable. Their office is lovely.

Dr. Z is the absolute BEST! He came highly recommended by my husband's colleague, Jodi Barth, PT, and he surpassed my expectations. The moment I met him, I knew that my care was in very capable hands. Dr. Z is extremely knowledgeable and so passionate about what he does - he instills confidence that all will work out well. He treated me for ptosis, which I had been dealing with for years and had made me feel very self-conscious about face-to-face interactions as well as having my photo taken. During the initial evaluation, he was very thorough and by the time that appointment concluded, I was completely confident that Dr. Z could help me. He is caring and a great listener...he addressed all of my concerns prior to my procedure and followed up thoroughly. He is very accessible, as is his wonderful assistant, Megan, and when I had a minor issue post-surgically, he even called me on a weekend to check on me. He corrected the ptosis but he gave me so much more....he helped restore my self-confidence and improved my quality of life - and those gifts are priceless.

Dr. Zatezalo fixed my tosis like a champ! He is probably the most easygoing and knowledgeable physician I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Young or old, Dr. Zatezalo can help you address all your sight needs - and he does it with a smile.
