After finding out two days before my surgery that my insurance company wasn't going to pay for my procedure and feeling upset and frustrated I received a call that changed everything. I was told it was all worked out and I was also told thst Dr. Choudry was ready to go to bat with my insurance company as well. Never have I ever seen a surgeon that was willing to fight for a patient with the insurance company. I cannot say enough about Dr. Choudry. He exemplifies the true nature of physician/patient relationships. He honestly cares about his patients and is heartfelt in helping them end a difficult journey and move on to new life adventures. He is thorough in explaining your options. His office staff is top notch as well. They have all gone out of their way for me, and for this I will be forever grateful!!!

Medically, Dr. Choudry was top notch and the surgery for my son was successful. Administratively and patient service the staff at the Delaware Street Clinic 1E was a textbook case of how NOT to operate. Was told to be there for 9:30 appt, came at 9:15, confirmed right place, right time. Went to restroom, came back 9:29 and then waited for 30 minutes in the waiting room. At 30 minutes after the scheduled appt. lead back to a room by an medical assistant. I said "it's been over 30 minutes, I think I should bill for my time." Instead of the expected, "sorry for the wait, let me see what I can do", I got a smirking "well I should bill you for my time also" from the young, no idea about service employee. Then a lecture from Dr. and staff about how they're doing me this great favor setting up an appt on non-clinical day. Claim that employee "L" advised my son's mom to arrive at 9:30 but you could wait a long time to see dr. Spoke with her, she had been given no other information than "be there at 9:30." This practice of over-booking, snotty attitudes from the reception desk to the back office is piss poor and I would not ever treat my clients the way I was treated at Clinic 1 E on 10-23.
