Dr. Schmidt and his staff are amazing!! His compassion and excellent professionalism was why I chose him as my plastic surgeon. He also came highly recommended by my family members. Here is my wonderful experience: I knew I wanted to have my chest done, but wanted to make them as natural looking as possible. I went for a consultation for breast augmentation a year after my 2nd child was born. Finding out I was a candidate, I booked my surgery for the beginning of August. He is very easy to talk to and explained everything to the fullest. He recommended the new saline implants and was happy with my choice. The procedure went fantastic and I healed very well. I didn't need to use the pain medication, just Tylenol. My incisions healed nicely and was fully healed in 6 weeks. When I went for my final check up, he told me that he wanted to fix the shape more. I thought that there was only 1 surgery, but didn't realize that after the swelling goes down the shape might need a touch up. I went for the touch up and healed well again. Just removing excess skin to make shape of the breast more round. I healed great. Seeing the before and after pictures clearly showed how great Dr. Schmid’s work truly is. I am so happy with the results. I feel like a new woman.

Dr. Schmid is a very caring and competent physician. At my first appointment I took the liberty to ask him about a problem that had nothing to do with what I was there for and he happily took the extra time to give me some advice about that issue. Not many physicians do that these days! I am an RN and was married to a physician for many years so I know the medical industry very well. I had carpal tunnel surgery and he uses a scope which leaves one tiny incision. He did a great job and I highly recommend him and will return to have my other issue taken care of when I am ready for that.

I was in a critical botched situation for 4 years, battling for my health. In 2016-2017 I met Dr.Schimd, I didn't know it yet but my life was about to change for the better. Dr. Schmid was there for me. He treated me as if I were his own daughter, part of his family. He empathized with me, he understood all the years I lost dealing with a traumatic situation. Dr.Schimd performed two surgeries on my buttocks. The scars that were left after recovery were unnoticeable to the eye. I was expecting huge, thick scars but no Dr.Schmid listened to my insecurities and he knew exactly what he was doing. The scars came out extremely thin. . He did them under the crest of the buttocks where you can hardly see them! He left me looking better then what I came in. My buttocks looked deformed pre surgery due to the injections from my horrific botched experience, but Dr.Schmid fixed the deformity and made my buttocks look completely round. Look, I know there are many plastic surgeons out there but not many who have the heart, dedication, and patience that Dr.Schmid does. He really takes care of you and makes sure to give you exactly what you ask for. He is indeed a perfectionist and makes sure he leaves you looking as perfect as he possibly can; no matter the situation you are in. I hope that this heartfelt message reaches so many women. That they learn from my story, without any judgement. That Dr.Schmid gets filled with people that are in need of his help. Dr. Schmid deserves so much! I can never gather the words to express the gratitude and love I have for him; for restoring not just my insecurities but my health.

In 2015 I tested positive for the BRCA gene. On the advice of my OB, I elected to have a double mastectomy and reconstruction as well as an oophorectomy. I met with 3 plastic surgeons and breast surgeons and the minute I met with Dr. Schmid and his team, it was clear that he was the surgeon for me. His team were the utmost of professionals from start to finish. From bedside manner to care and to the incredible work he did. As a 38 year old woman with 3 young children, I worried that having this type of surgery would leave me feeling like less of a woman/wife/mother. Thanks to Dr. Schmid, I am happy, healthy and a better, stronger woman than ever before. Just a few months after my double mastectomy, I had an oophorectomy as well to remove my ovaries and Fallopian tubes. I also elected to have an abdominalplasty to correct a diastasis I had from the birth of my 10lb son and twin daughters. Once again, Dr. Schmid and his team were absolutely incredible. His work is beyond impeccable and his team are amazing. Dr. Schmid is truly a miracle worker who’s attention to deal and care for his patients comes first. He is quite simply the absolute best at what he does!

I have been a patient of Dr. Schmid for almost 2 years now. I had a scar on my belly from the Diep Flap procedure that I thought could not be corrected. I went to another doctor and he performed a scar revison and it did nothing! I almost gave up but decided to go back to Dr. Schmid and ask if he thought he could correct it. He was optimistic that he could correct the scar so we went for it. I was so pleased when I woke up from surgery and saw my "new belly", the scar was so much smaller and it will continue to get smaller as I heal. I can't say enough about how caring Dr. Schmid and his team are. Dr. Schmid takes the time to answer all of my questions and never rushes me out the door. It is always a pleasant experience.
