Dr. Samara S. Churgin

Doctor Churgin Is a great doctor. I originally went to a hospital in the city but I needed additional care and went to Good Samaritan hospital. I was referred to doctor Churgin by one of the nurses in the emergency room. Doctor Churgin took care of my intense crushing injury. The staff at her office worked well with my workers compensation insurance company to make sure the visits would be covered. All of my questions regarding my injury were able to be answered by Doctor Churgin.

Doctor Churgin is a great doctor and an amazing surgeon. I saw Doctor Churgin in Plainview Hospital emergency room due to a broken nose and laceration on my forehead. Everyone I speak to states they see a difference in the before and after version of my nose. Two months later you can barely notice any scars due to Doctor Churgin's amazing technique. Doctor Churgin's staff helped me out with getting the procedure approved thru my Empire Insurance. The staff was very organized and professional with handling all of my paperwork. I would highly recommend Doctor Churgin for any given surgery!

Mother is NIGHTMARE! to say they are bad would be an understatement. Total Rip off all about the money. Mother is the most condescending nasty person I have ever spoken with. Most disorganized office ever. Files paper work everywhere stacked 3 feet high! Shame on them.

I went to Dr. Churgin for my breast reduction and was very happy. She is so intelligent and skilled, and her resume really reflects that. She worked closely with my primary doctor and rheumatologist, and I would describe her as cautious and thorough. I had a hard time finding a surgeon because I was over a 30 BMI, even though I was in really awful pain. Dr. Churgin took me as a patient anyway and worked with me throughout the entire process. My insurance approval came through in less than a week thanks to her office staff, Kathy, doing such a great job on the application. Her mom, Mrs. Churgin, is hilarious and you can tell she really enjoys talking about her daughter's accomplishments, and I found that reassuring. I wouldn't hesitate to go to Dr. Churgin again.

Dr. Churgin's Mother appears to be the sweetest lady and tells you everything you want to hear. If you leave a message she will be the one to call you back and obtain your information. Her approach is similar to one of a car sales person. Then, after you pay your money the Dr. tells you... in my case (due to my weight I have to loose 75lbs.) I gave the mother all information over the phone prior to me coming in for the consult. This could have been avoided. The mother assures you that you can (If getting a breast reduction) get approved over night. I was looking to pay for the procedure. She said: Honey nobody pays to have their breast smaller. I mean... why would I argue that? I followed her direction. Silly ME! She then say's, We can even say your boobs are a size F to get you approved. The mother is very nasty to the office staff who is very friendly. In one breath she is yelling demanding the gal stop what she's doing and water the plants then, turns around and speaks to you (in this case Me) in a nice voice. She really is just trying to butter you up to keep the business for her daughter. The Dr. her self seemed fine but, I would have rather worked with her than the crazy mother. After you see the Dr. the mother talks your ear off for another 15 mins. This time she is practically forcing you to give her daughter great reviews. This made me feel very uncomfortable. I leave reviews based on how I feel. Not because someone is taunting me to say nice things about my visit. That made me question all previous reviews. She even said to the girl working don't let people leave without doing a review. Then says press this press that. I never submitted my review, BUT I'm submitting this one. Also no website to see before and afters. Seeing is Believing for me to some degree. I won't be doing any business because the mother alone made my experience frustrating.
