Having been in the medical field for over 40 years as a senior administrator running a major hospital on Long Island, I have worked with many surgeons over the past 4 decades. Dr. Jonathan Landon, MD, Chief of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at South Shore Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery is unique in his endless quest for perfection in everything that he does. He demonstrates this every single day with every single patient. In an ever-changing medical landscape, most, if not all physicians find themselves attempting to see as many patients as possible in as little time as possible. Dr. Landon runs his practice in a completely different, "old fashioned" manner – with an average consultation time of one hour, he is able to truly get to know his patients and provide exemplary care to each and every person he treats. His breath of knowledge and expertise in both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures truly makes him a Renaissance man. I would highly recommend Dr. Jonathan Landon, MD and South Shore Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery for all your cosmetic plastic surgical or reconstructive plastic surgical needs.

Amazing surgeon with amazing results! Dr. Landon makes you feel comfortable from the second you walk in. He pays attention to every detail and delivers amazing results. I would recommend him to any one looking to enhance their appearance. Do yourself a favor and go in for a consultation.

Dr Landon's skill, expertise and compassion are evident in every portion of your visit with him. I recently saw Dr Landon for lip augmentation and expressed my concern, as my previous experience with lip fillers had been painful and less than what I had envisioned, lumpy and un-natural. Dr Landon took the time to discuss why he recommended a specific product, and why it was superior to what I had received before. Once we made the decision to move forward, his approach was that of an artistic engineer; he took his time and each injection was deliberate and specific to his vision. I could not have envisioned the final result any better...it was as if I had a new set of perfectly natural lips, both product and skill made this experience superior in every way. I am a patient for life with Dr Landon!!

I saw Dr Landon for skin cancer I had on my face. His knowledge on the cancer was superior to everyone else I saw. Since this was on my face, I wanted to make sure I went to the very best to make sure I had the very best outcome without a huge scar. The other 2 Plastic Surgeons I saw spent less then 15 minutes with me. I really FELT that they could care less and only saw me as a paycheck. One even said insurance would never cover this and I would have to pay $8000 cash to remove my skin cancer and make the scar go away. Dr Landon not only spend an entire hour with me, explaining EVRYTHING I ever wanted to know about the cancer, but reviewed the surgery by taking photos and drawing pictures so I really understood what needed to be done! He also discussed financing, telling me everything WOULD BE COVERED BY MY INSURANCE!!! Even better! The surgery day was so easy also! Dr Landon took care of everything. I already had my medications at home since he submitted the prescriptions at my CVS BEFORE surgery. I had ALL the instructions. EVERYTHING WAS TAKEN CARE OF! When it comes to the results - SPECTACULAR!!! I am so happy. After the cancer was taken off, he immediately did the reconstructure. Then he did what he said was Scar-Management. All I can say is I HAVE NO SCAR!!! It looked fantastic right after surgery and got better and better!! Now, I just saw him for the 3 month exam. I can't even see the scar! It is incredible. To think that the hole in my face which was like the size of a quarter is now completely gone and scar like completely invisible is amazing. I couldn't be any happier. I would highly recommend Dr Landon and his practice South Shore Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for ANYTHING you need done at all! You WILL NOT regret it! Thank you Dr Landon!!
