Smith Center: Dr. Kevin Smith

I haven't really seen any reviews directly related to cosmetic procedures as far as Dr. Smith is concerned so I thought I'd share my experience so far. So I had a procedure done by Dr. Smith - partially medical, mostly cosmetic. I did get headaches about twice a month that seem to have no cure. But cosmetic is the main reason I began seeking a plastic surgeon. I have always hated my nose. I was bullied for my nose from the time I was in kindergarten to about sophomore year of high school. I went to Dr. Smith to get an initial quote and found that there was actually alot more that needed to be done medically than I thought! I went ahead and scheduled the procedure that day, for 8 months later. The day of the procedure, I was beyond nervous (never had a cavity, never been in the hospital for any reason, etc.). Dr. Smith just had the biggest smile on his face and referred to the cosmetic work as "art class" for him. He does this every day so of course, I trusted him. I was worried about feeling pain after and he assured me I wouldn't. One thing I did find a little unsettling was having my face completely wrapped (eyes and all) after surgery for the next 3 hours. I questioned him and he said it greatly reduces swelling and bruising but I didn't have to have it if I didn't want it. I told him to go ahead and do it. I really don't even remember the next few hours, they had me asleep very quickly and I woke up groggy but in absolutely no pain. My face was wrapped so my mom had to help me to the car and for the next couple hours, I couldn't see. But I am SO glad I went through with the wrapping because I had NO swelling/bruising whatsoever during recovery. I was never in any amount of pain, not even a little bit (and I have a low pain tolerance). Recovery was not bad at all, and any discomfort was solved easily with pain medications. When I got the cast off, it was very swollen of course but has gone down significantly over the past few weeks and will continue to go down, and I couldn't be happier with it. I have been to a couple of follow up appointments where Dr. Smith cleans it and tends to any issues that I may be having. Overall, the experience was amazing and having Dr. Smith as my surgeon was the best choice I made. The love he has for his job just radiates through his positive attitude and contagious smile. Great bedside manner and staff. Anyone who may be doubting the procedure like I was has nothing to worry about. Dr. Smith will not steer you wrong.

I researched for over a year regarding this procedure to remove some of the fat and excess skin from my eyelids and to awaken my facial expression.. His staff is very cordial very caring very concerned. I ended up having to cancel once due to his schedule and then during hurricane Harvey. I knew then his organization is client concerned and not money driven. His nurse is amazing she calmed me in order to have the procedure because had my blood been elevated I would have been declined..my family was allowed to accompany up until the actual procedure and get this...the day of my appointment I was the only patient,,,,he accommodated my scheduling needs and I'm just blown away for that.....the bedside manner (SMITHERIZE) treatment is amazing and there are follow up calls to check up on you .....Gods just good...oh and the decor is on point absolutely impeccable all around...I'm a sucker for bling ...the balance of bling and modern decor is awesome...oh and if you forget to eat before your surgery no worries theres a restaurant next door..not sure of the hours but anyway GOD planted this organization here and it's an amazing experience Thank you Dr Smith for everything....

Great bed side manner. I had originally seen him for headaches. A few years later he performed an eye lift and then later a mini face lift. I'm very satisfied with the outcome it's been several years since my procedure, and the results still look amazing. I have a great grandson and I get comments saying they didn't think I was a grand mother much less a great grandma. Thanks, D. Fuentes

My wife has been trying to have this surgery done for migraines for months now. This week was the culmination of a lot of research, hardships, and blessings. Dr Smith is very personable, kind, and sympathetic. He really does good work, as well. My wife is already feeling better, even just after 1 day. I highly recommend you seek his services if you have migraine or sinus issues.
