Dr. Pilcher has been my doctor since 2008, and I can honestly say he is the best, very professional and caring and makes sure you as the patient understand everything about your surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Pilcher as a surgeon to anyone. His staff is also very professional and respectful.

I want to commend Dr. Pilcher on his work. I had the stomach reduction surgery and have had a very good experience. I have been successful in my weight loss and have lost 66 LBS as of today. When I came to Dr. Pilcher, I could barely breathe. I had been to heart and pulmonary doctors who put me through every test imaginable and could find nothing wrong. Finally my heart doctor suggested that I might try the stomach reduction surgery. I called my sister who had gone thru the surgery and she recommended Dr. Pilcher to me. Even though I live in another town (6 hours away), after talking with my sister, I setup an appointment with him and I am so glad I did. At my first appointment, I liked him right away and felt comfortable with him. He was very caring and personable. He explained the procedure thoroughly and clearly. If you are going to have this surgery, there is no one better than Dr. Pilcher.

I am 2 years post op and I have to say, Dr. Pilcher and his staff have been phenomenal! They are with you to answer questions or concerns every step of the way!. Dr. Pilcher is easily accessible, compassionate and very knowledgeable. He has great bedside manner and listens to your concerns. Making the decision to have GB was very difficult for myself and my family. I am so glad I did.! It has changed my life tremendously! Dr. Pilcher ensured all of our questions were answered and has continued to follow me with clinic visits for continued care.

If you need a revision of a previous surgery or this is your first Bariatric Surgery, I can’t tell you how excited I am for you if you choose Dr. Pilcher to perform the procedure. I had a revision because of a bad experience with a previous doctor and was unable to keep food down. I was miserable and my esophagus was getting really bad. Thankfully, I was referred to Dr. Pilcher. Talk about a different experience from the first. It was the easiest operation I have every had. No pain and Dr. Pilcher was one of the nicest and most concerned doctors I have ever had. He has a wonderful bedside manner and made me feel at ease at once. I have kept the weight off and have had no problems at all. I would highly recommend Dr. Pilcher.

Dr. Pilcher literally changed my life and my husbands life! Dr. Pilcher's bed side manners are warm and exceptional. San Antonio frankly is lucky to have him and I would send anyone, and any of my family members to him. I made the decision to have weight loss surgery easily and for two reasons: 1. I was READY and 2. I knew having Dr. Pilcher by my side, on my team. Hands down, the best!
