Dr Rodriguez is really good and so far, I am pleased with the results of my procedure. I can't say the same for front desk, they are not friendly and they not even try. I work at a Dr's office and staff goes out of their way to make people feel welcome. Not the case here. Their demeanor is like they hate their job.

I had cortizon shots in my hands yesterday. They still hurt but that is the shots and they do take a few days to work into the joints. Been there before far too many times my 2nd nickname is pincushion. Dr. Rodriguez took extremely excellent care in getting the job done. He listened to my concerns of worry & fear and helped me in many ways 🤗 I truly feel that with his knowledge and experience he was able to get into the joints do the job and out with the least amount of torture this procedure requires. I saw he cared and that I applaud and am grateful for 🤓 Thanks Doc you are Top Notch 😎

Wants your money, but not concerned if problems occur after!!!! Severe staph infection!! Dr. Rodrigues completed a breast lift for me on Friday morning of March 12/2016. I was instructed not to remove the bandages until Monday. Saturday morning at 1am I passed out and had to be rushed to the emergency room due to VERY low blood pressure. Saturday about 11am my husband called Dr Rodrigues to let him know of the problems I was having; fever, chills, dizzy, low blood pressure. His response to us was ,"There is nothing I did to cause these symptoms, this was nothing worse than removing a mole". I continued to have the same symptoms thru to Monday when we decided to go to Instacare. The Dr. took one look at me, and wanted to transport me to the nearest emergency room. I had severe Staph infection. After examination at St Marks Hospital, the attending physician there stated the incisions needed to be opened up and cleaned out immediately! He then called Dr. Rodrigues. Dr. Rodrigues response to the emergency doctor was, "can't it wait til morning?". I had a severe staph infection, that was caused by my surgery, that HE had performed, that is known to KILL people, and he wanted me to wait another 12 hours. Had Dr. Rodriguez taken care of the issue on Saturday from our initial phone call, I would not have been in the condition I was in. I had to be transferred to a different hospital that our medical insurance did not cover but Dr. Rodrigues had privleges to. Dr. Rodrigues stated he would help us with the bills. Then I went thru the most PAIN I have ever been thru in my life!!!! He had to open the incision in my left breast and literally scrub out the wounds. Then I had to go back to his office the following morning and go through it all again. I had a few IV's to force the antibiotic's into my system. Then a few days later, the right breast became infected. During this time, we had to leave the incisions open to drain the infection and my husband had to daily clean and pack gauze about an inch into the incisions to keep them moist and clean. Can you imagine the pain I had to indure every day doing this. We did this for about 10 days. At this point, the test results came back that showed the result was "staph" infection. Dr. Rodrigues became a different person, he was there to help any way he could. I know exactly what caused the "staph". During the procedure, the Dr. asked his assistant to get something for him, she opened a cupboard door to obtain it, and never changed her gloves. The thing I am most upset about, is my $500 procedure ended up costing us out of pocket, after our insurance paid, a little over $3000. All I have asked of Dr. Rodrigues, is that he pays the $329 bill from the hospital that he required me to go to the Monday night of my second emergency visit. I delivered him a package showing all my medical bills on 8/10/16. It showed the total amount of bills, the amount the insurance had paid and the out of pocket we had paid. Then the bill from the hospital he had us transfer to in the amount of $329.27 after my insurance had paid $753.77. I then delivered him another letter on 9/7/16, again asking him to please help with the bill. Today is 9/18/16, the bill is not paid and I have not received any type of attempt from him to contact me. I feel this is not the type of Dr. you would want to work with. All he seems concerned about is to get your money. When the real problems start, he is not concerned abut them. Think twice about using this doctor!
