I consulted with Dr. Egan for Septoplasty due to a deviated septum that was blocking my left nostril completely. He was very considerate of my concerns and paid a lot of time and attention during several consultations. He reviewed my CT scans in detail with me going over specifics of my individual case and how the surgery was going to be addressing it. He treated me with respect and was very open to questions. I didn't feel like I was just another patient. I had some reservations about side effects that Dr. Egan didn't simply dismiss. His office is in a very accessible location with easy parking. The office staff is very professional. I had some issues with the billing dept. and they were very courteous and I was able to get them to make concessions to their policies even though they didn't have to. I would highly recommend this practice.

Great experience! I'm forever grateful for the care and medical treatment I received from Dr. O'Halloran and the office team. I highly recommend this office!

Update: One day after posting this the Fairfax ENT office manager contacted me. We went over what happened and she agreed to refund all but the $75 dollar charge for the ear cleaning. Fairfax ENT has some work to do to make sure their insurance practices work better, but at least they made things right after the fact. Deceptive at every turn. My 86 year old mother needed her ears cleaned and her pcp suggested she would be more comfortable getting it done at an ent facility and suggested Fairfax ENT. I called them and asked if they took my mom's insurance. They said they did. When we arrived for the appointment all of a sudden they DONT take my mom's insurance. I ask them for the cash price to clean my mom's ears and they told my $75. They took my mom back and when they returned they charged her over $300 to clean her ears, quickly pick out a foreign body, and a "consult" which we never asked for. Highway robbery.

Not too good experience with customer service!

Dr O'Halloran makes me feel I am his only patient. He has gotten me through 2 bouts of GERD, the last being particularly nasty, requiring extended treatment, including surgery to remove polyps from my throat. I remember coming out of anesthesia seeing him smile at me as he walked past, giving me a thumbs up! He's the best!
