Wow, i couldn't disagree with Danni M. more. This practice is wonderful. My 20 year old son started to have repeated trouble with strep throat. His tonsils were generally a bit oversized and hadn't caused him any issues while he was growing up, but with the repeated infections he was recently suffering, they became dangerously inflamed and were impeding his breathing. Dr, Swarmy was absolutely amazing. He got the infection under control so that the tonsils could be removed, and then expertly took care of removing them. These were not difficult tonsils to remove, and for someone the age of my son, a tonsillectomy is dangerous because a significant risk of bleeding and possible life threatening blood clots. The surgery and recovery was seamless. The night after surgery, my son had a question about his medication and Dr, Swarmy called back within 3 minutes of our call. Then this past year, I had surgery with Dr. Swarmy for a deviated septum and prolapsed nasal valve that I had ignored for too long. Another successful surgery with no adverse post-op consequences and wonderful results! I have also gone to the practice for cosmetic injections. The staff and Metro ENT have always been professional and caring. I can't say enough good things about Dr, Swarmy and Metropolitan ENT.

After my second time visiting MetroENT, particularly Dr. Courtney Raizman, I have decided to discontinue their services and find another ENT. On both occasions, I left with more questions than answers, and both times left feeling that I was merely a box that was checked on a list, rather than having my needs tended to. In both instances, I was seen by the doctor for a total of 5 minutes (more time was spent waiting and then a few minutes with an audiologist) and then dismissed - no resolution, no explanations, possibilities... nothing. My neurologist is actually the one who pointed me in the right direction and recommended a helpful, caring ENT. One piece of the MetroENT pie - a VNG test that could have been done while I was there (and should have been best accommodated while I was experiencing symptoms, as recommended by the neurologist) was pushed to a whole week later, despite my appointment being early in the afternoon.With such a large staff and team of doctors, it is disappointing that my impression of this place is that it is a wholesale practice - caring more about how many patients are seen than actual patient satisfaction and resolution.

I highly recommend Dr. Abidin and his staff. I traveled to VA to seek care from him due to a previous botched surgery. He was patient in working with me to coordinate a plan in advance, was more than accommodating to my needs traveling to seek care from him, and most importantly I achieved excellent results from both surgical visits it required to correct my problem. He is a leading professional in his field, and thoroughly set my expectations before and after each surgery. If you're going to have surgery, I've learned the hard way, you must go to the best surgeon, even if it requires travel.
