I had a breast reduction in 2010.My insurance gave me 5 surgeons to pick from...unfortunately Dr.Karp was not on my list. I realize that when you get a reduction it is not for aesthetic purposes but more for health reasons so I didn't have expectations for them to be picture perfect. But I did have an expectation of them being close to the same size and also of my areolas being fairly round. This was not the case I actually ended up with one that was a b cup and one was a double D cup and my areolas not only looked like stop signs but I had some stitching that was puckered and my surgeon was not concerned about it and it created an infection where the pucker was and gave me some painful scar tissue. Needless to say I was devastated. Since for insurance purposes the only thing the surgeon is required to do is make them smaller and they were that... There was no recourse for me legally and my only option was to have the same surgeon try to fix them. I was not comfortable with this so I started researching by talking to people and looking at different doctors work and after about 5 years I decided that I would go to doctor karp and see what he could do for me. When I went to his office I was treated with respect and kindness and I truly felt that he understood why I was devastated. He did not lie to me and tell me that he could make them picture perfect but he did tell me that he would do his best to make me feel feminine and whole again. I went into the surgery with very low expectations because of the previous surgery but I did feel confident that Dr karp would do everything he could for me. After the surgery it was almost immediately apparent that the results were more than I ever could have hoped for... And as they healed it only got better and better. I refer all of my friends and clients to Dr karp because I truly believe that he is not only an amazing surgeon but an amazing person. I always like when I'm going to refer him to someone and they already have heard of him, had him do work for them, or know him on a personal level and feel the same way that I do!

Had breast augmentation with Dr Karp 4 months ago and he botched my boobs. He made one of my pockets too big causing mild symmastia, where my skin lifts off my sternum every time I lean forward. His solution was to pretend nothing was wrong. After Dr Karp telling me for 3 months that everything was fine and not taking my concerns seriously I got a second opinion and found out the only way to fix the issue is with another surgery....Don't go to Karp unless you want a botched boob job.

I have been a patient of Dr. Karps since 2007. He has always treated me with respect. I've had several surgeries and have been pleased with my results. I wouldn't go anywhere else!!!
