I visited Dr. Leyngold a few weeks ago and received filler and Botox. Dr. Leyngold did an amazing job!!! I wanted to make sure my lips looked plump, but still natural (living in Los Angeles, I know the fake lip look when I see it!!). I've also seen some of his cosmetic surgery results -- a friend referred me after receiving a brow lift and had the excess skin on her upper eyelids removed. She looks great! We both love his work. I felt very comfortable in his care and was happy that he took the time to hear exactly what I wanted him to do. I also appreciated that there were certain things I asked about and he recommended I wait to do them until I'm older - he was very ethical and it's reassuring to know that if he feels the procedure it will not benefit patients he will tell them not to do it. This might upset some people, but in the end he's doing what's best for the patient. Highly recommend !

My sister had surgery at the Duke Ambulatory Surgical Center on Friday 6/2/17 to remove her eye. Her surgeon was Dr. Ilya M. Leyngold. She was discharged from recovery with a pain level of 6. She was sent home, an hour away, and told to take Tylenol. That’s right, just Tylenol. It was a full 48 hours before Tylenol could control her pain. This doctor may be careful about his surgical technique and infection rates, things that are monitored by the hospital, but he does not ‘understand’ or ‘care’ about post-op patient pain. If you are thinking about using this surgeon, I highly recommend that you find someone else. Discuss post-op pain management with them in detail. Also, he never came out to discuss her surgery with the family and ‘home care’ instructions/complications were very poor. Her conformer popped out at home and it was very stressful since we were totally unprepared. I am posting this information with the hope that I can keep other people from suffering like she did.
