Unfortunately, I have a very high deductible and I am thankful Dr. Cohn has tried to help a bit in that regard, starting last visit. So I picked up some very stubborn sand parasite in the ocean at Myrtle Beach. I had been going for preventive spraying from sun damage, but with these little parasite bites, I have tried lice shampoo, flea and tick shampoo, flea and tick killer spray, cortisone, plus Dr. Cohn prescribed a cream that cost me $156 out of pocket. It unfortunately did nothing. We were at Myrtle Beach in OCTOBER and this is mid January. Dr. Cohn said they would eventually go away on their own. Not so. These little suckers are fighters. So I called and left a message today to see if perhaps I can get another cream prescribed, because nothing is working. But the office visits have been adding up and between the $156 cream and my two appointments, I'm up over $400 out of pocket now and my issue has not been resolved. I am grateful as Kevin, the business manager, has offered a free appointment which I may still take him up on, but he said procedures are extra. I believe I was charged for a procedure of a very brief look at the almost invisible rash to the tune of over $100 just to get the cream prescription and an added antihistamine. So I feel, having high deductible insurance (and I pay $950 a month for it!), that the charges here add up awfully quickly. It is actually my insurance, and though my issue is unresolved and I've spent quite a bit on this, the office is trying to help me out. But the point is, I've spent hundreds of dollars on this now and it has all been a waste, so I am hoping Dr. Cohn will recommend another path without my having to do another appointment, since she has seen it already. I will say her MAs are all absolutely excellent.

Over a decade ago I started seeing Dr. Cohn and I refuse to see any other dermatologist ever since. She's removed nearly 30 ' funky freckles ' - and every single one lab tested as potentially cancerous. My friend that is seeing University Hospital's team of dermatologists cannot say the same. As a woman I want a dermatologist that is compassionate to potential physical scarring and that goes the extra mile to incorporate aesthetics into her treatment. You could not get better than Dr. Cohn.

I am a 22yo female. The wait time is ridiculous. I have been going there for 4 years and I have had the same experience every time. They said they are trying to improve their system but for four years going on five now it is the same thing.... I show up on time for my appt and I wait in the office for over an hour then get put into a room and wait another half hour or so before the doctor even comes in. She rushes you when examining you which I found out is because she overbooks her appts. My last visit I waited 2 hours in the waiting room and I decided enough is enough. The doctor does the job but their service to the patients is not up to par.

I started with Dr. Cohn when my dermatologist of many years retired. Dr. Cohn manages her patients by giving them a once over at least yearly or as required- this has allowed her to catch some spots on my 69 year old body early enough to take off easily. The office staff is always pleasant and the office itself is the best run office of all the doctors I currently use. They remind you of your appointment efficiently helping to avoid wasted time for everyone. Great doctor and office – Dr. Cohn is young enough that she should be able to manage my dermatological needs for the balance of my life
