Dr. Magnusson and his entire staff were amazing from the consultation through post-op care. I’m so thankful a friend referred me to Dr. Magnusson because I am so pleased with the outcome of my procedure and the all-around whole experience.

Told me to squeeze my breast to break a scar tissue capsule that formed around my breast implant. Horrible advice and not recommended at all!

Had great results from a breast implant removal and replacement after I had a rupture.

Beware, I also had bad results from a basil skin cancer removal that Dr Magnusson performed. He has a great bedside manner and his staff was very pleasant, but my end result is soooo horrible and disappointing. The cancer was a small circular spot on the upper lip; between the nose and the lip. I thought I would be smart and have a plastic surgeon remove the cancer. He would make it look good. We agreed that cutting an oval shape around the cancer and then pulling it together to look like a line would be wise. Initially he told me he wouldn't need to cut the lip, but on the day of the surgery, after preparation, he said he was going to cut into it. I expressed concern and told him that I had read that it was very bad to cut the lip. He told me to trust him; that my lips would be "very kissable" after the procedure. I relented and let him do it. HUGE mistake. The cancer was sent to lab and came back that more had to be removed. Again, I had to have the area cut and again the lip was cut into just one month later. I expressed concern that I was afraid to have the lip cut into again. Again he reassured me to trust him. This time the lip line was further misaligned. I could tell before the stitches were taken out and questioned him on stitch removal day. Again he told me it was perfect, no need to worry. It it not perfect it is about 3/16 to 1/4 of an inch misaligned. I am scared to death to go back and trust him again. The lip itself never had cancer and should have never been cut into. I regret with every ounce of my being, trusting him, every time I see myself in the mirror. I can't tell you how much I wish I could go back in time. If I go to another plastic surgeon to try an fix this will they make me worse? And on top of that, the stitch removal went bad for me. The nurse is as sweet as can be, but she is older, and her near sight is fading, as mine is. I don't blame her, it's a fact of life, but the doctor should provide her with a magnifying lens so she can see the stitches. She cut the tails off of one stitches and left the stitch. I had to dig with tweezers into the sore wound to dig at the stitch, lift it, and cut it; then dig with the tweezers to pull the pieces out. I also had to remove 3 more stitches that were cut, but not pulled out of the wound. One time she pulled her hand away, but still had a stitch firmly attached to her tweezer (uncut) and yanked. So incredible painful. She felt very bad and apologized.
