I attest that Edison School is truly a beacon of excellence, as our daughter is now excelling at a top-ranked university. At Edison School, the environment is thoughtfully tailored to foster both academic and personal development. The staff and teachers demonstrate a remarkable commitment; they ensure that every student feels acknowledged, valued, and supported. The curriculum at Edison enhances critical thinking and sharpens problem-solving abilities. The mathematics program employs the acclaimed Singapore Mathematics, which deepened their understanding of complex mathematical principles and bolstered their problem-solving skills. Meanwhile, the Language Arts program integrates the comprehensive Wordly-Wise curriculum, fostering reading, writing, and an expansive vocabulary and literature appreciation. The educators at Edison School are both passionate about and proficient in their fields, possessing a distinctive ability to render intricate concepts understandable and engaging. I wholeheartedly endorse Edison School to any parent seeking an outstanding educational setting.

Edison School, under the helm of Mrs. Chernoff, is an establishment that falls painfully short of fulfilling its educational responsibilities. My recent experience with this institution left me utterly disappointed and disheartened. From the outset, it was clear that there were significant shortcomings in the organization and management of the school. The physical infrastructure appeared neglected, with classrooms in dire need of repair and basic amenities such as heating and ventilation systems malfunctioning. This created an uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment for both students and staff. However, the issues ran deeper than just the physical environment. Mrs. Chernoff's leadership seemed to lack direction and vision. There was a pervasive sense of disorganization, with communication between administration, teachers, and parents being virtually non-existent other then e-mails about non relevant topics. Important information was often delayed or simply not communicated at all unless it was false, leading to confusion and frustration among students. Academically, the standards at Edison School were shockingly low. The curriculum seemed outdated and irrelevant other then mathematics, failing to engage students or foster a love for learning. There was a noticeable lack of support for students who needed additional help, and extracurricular activities were practically non-existent other then badminton. Furthermore, disciplinary issues were blasphemous except for students whom gave large donations to the school which received light to no punishment, indicating a lack of effective management and enforcement of rules. Bullying and disruptive behavior went unchecked for most other then students specifically targeted by Beth Chernoff for the sole purpose of the students parents being reasonable and not giving donations to the school, creating a hostile learning environment that hindered the academic and emotional development of students. Perhaps most concerning was the apparent indifference of Mrs. Chernoff and the administration to these issues. Complaints and concerns raised by parents and staff were met with dismissiveness or deflection, further exacerbating feelings of frustration and helplessness. In conclusion, my experience with Edison School under Mrs. Chernoff's leadership was profoundly disappointing. From the neglected physical environment to the lack of academic rigor and ineffective management, it is evident that this establishment is failing in its duty to provide a quality education to its students. Immediate and substantial changes are needed to address these issues and restore faith in the institution's ability to fulfill its educational mission.

Thank you for having the incredible school trip to see the Eclipse in Montreal. First, Mr. Finnerty and Miss Dayley are incredible educators. Both are well respected by the students and speak to them in a manner that provides pinpointed direction without any condescension that allows the children to be successful in any situation. I only wish I could teach this at work. We are all lucky to have them at Edison. While the addition of the science centre, biodome, and tour of McGill were all incredible, knowing the children can easily navigate a subway in a major city will serve them to be confident travellers for the rest of their lives.

My two daughters have been in Edison School from kindergarten, and my third daughter already successfully graduated. For 10 years, I witnessed a supportive atmosphere where children feel valued and encouraged. With small class sizes and personalized attention, the students receive the support they need. Edison School is synonymous with a quality education. The pedagogical team at Edison School diligently upholds a high standard for the rigorous academic curriculum. The personal growth and development of the children are greatly impacted by the environment in which they spend eight hours a day, and with this kind of environment it is only positive.

Our kid went to Kindergarten/Gr1 and that was truly beyond our expectations. We've seen a lot of care and attention from the staff, great academic load, which was what we needed, good physical vs academic balance - kids go outside 2 times a day, sometimes more, very flexible. Mrs. Robinson is like a second mother. Our kid is VERY shy and Mrs. Robinson managed to make a great nurturing environment, so our kid came home shining. Mrs. Power is a just great as well! As for uniform rules - they make sense, nothing crazy. Same for the discipline. To add, we've seen a lot of care for other kids as well, and when a kid doesn't catch up with academics, they're trying to help as much as they can, definitely giving lots of chances.
