After conducting much research on private schools in the area, we concluded that even the STEM schools can not outpace the math and science programs at Lyndon. The curriculum goes above and beyond the norm in Georgia. We then discovered that the Music Director is nothing short of amazing. He has more than half of the eligible students excited about playing in the band or participating in music in some way. Next year, the kids are singing the National Anthem at Turner Field. Then there are the visual arts, electives and foreign languages. The language arts programs are unmatched. My kid gets Mandarin and Spanish daily. His cognitive reasoning and communication skills have soared. Take a tour, make a call, but don't pass up the opportunity to check this school out.

We have had an incredible experience with Lyndon Academy. Our daughter started in Kindergarten and is now moving into 2nd grade. She is excited to learn each and every day and is really enjoying the challenging curriculum. The focus on daily dual foreign language studies in both Mandarin and Spanish really sets this school apart. The teachers and administrators definitely have high expectations for the students, but they do so in such a positive and productive environment. The students are testing far above the state and national norms and are going to be well prepared to be citizens in our global world. On top of academics, the school also has a robust sports, arts, and extra-curricular program. It is a great value for this low cost private education opportunity. Thank you Lyndon Academy!

I love every aspect of Lyndon Academy. The trilingual program that includes Spanish and Mandarin offered at a young age, the committed teachers that love what they do and truly care about our kids, their education and overall well-being, the small size classes, the smooth and friendly communication with teachers and administration, the fantastic art and music program, the smiling faces all around, the technology used to teach in each classroom, how this School truly wants your child not only to be academically successful but a global, responsible, inspiring and loving adult. But, what I love the best about Lyndon is seeing my kid getting excited and looking forward to going school every single day and growing so much in so many areas! Don't take my word for it... Just experience it by yourself.

My daughter has been enrolled for 2 years at Lyndon Academy. I can not say enough how remarkable this school is. The staff and teachers have become more of a family to us than just a school where my daughter attends. The curriculum is outstanding. I encourage anyone seeking a private education to speak with Mrs. Murdock..you won't be disappointed!!

Our child loved Lyndon while there. The language program makes this school stand out for sure. As time passed, we needed a more conservative based teaching agenda for our children and NCC and another have given our family what we need for now. We were unimpressed, however, when some of our friends were experiencing some issues with the new (at the time) middle grades science department. The upper school was new and we all understand that there are always growing pains. However, this was a little more than that and it definitely made an impression. Now we are hearing and seeing this drama continue. I was stunned at how long this has gone on. We can now see the suppressed reviews. What happened to first amendment rights? This bothers us. I am giving this review 3 stars because we have no concern about the academy at large- but with this certain science department and their drama issues that seem to bring the school down. We are disappointed in how the admin has handled this department- or has not handled it- depends on how you look at it I guess. We don't want to condone students hacking social media of teachers- but teacher should know better than to put questionable facts or opinions on their social media sites than can be sent everywhere. We have seen the emails and comments that have been published about her blaming parents for her 2013 drama at the school and then also blaming the Lyndon administration for not doing anything. The kids also uncovered some court issues she has had and the fact she has been married multiple (3!) times makes this even more unpalatable. We hate this form of unpleasant advertising for such a sweet school. However, parents and students have a first amendment right to say their opinions and facts on review sites. We feel it may be in the school's best interest to handle their dramatic teacher from within.
