This school has a really great curriculum and follows the classical education system which is great, however, it seems as though they created this school to only be for their own children which they show obvious favor towards. Most of the teachers have children that attend the school and are friends with each other. The schools policies are sketchy and left to be ultimately interpreted by their tyrant of a principal who chooses "grace for his children and the children of employees" even when they assault the other children but gives very little grace to children not from their congregation. I had many issues with this school and tried to work them out but it became unbearable for my children who begged to leave. The following are just a few. My children sustained multiple injuries or physical attacks by other children while on school property none of which were reported to me by the school. After hearing from my children I would call the school to inquire about it and the answer was that they didn't think it was "that bad". Usually the attacks were from the children of the other teachers or principals. My daughter reported the vice principal's son for inappropriate sexual conduct in class right in front of the teacher who is also the principal and friends with the VP. The principal/teacher accused her of lying and harassed her on several occasions claiming she was spreading gossip and rumors as other children began to stand up and report witnessing inappropriate sexual conduct at this school. He refused to refrain from private conversations with my daughter in his office even after her father and I asked that he not do that in the future and requested to be present if he felt it necessary to talk to her in private. There was also an issue of the school attempting to interpret my child custody agreement and did so inaccurately, refusing to release them to me. The teachers ran to my car after my son was already in my car and my daughter was getting into my car and told my children to get out of my car, took them away to the principal's office and refused to release them to me or let me see them. After a very disturbing discussion with the principal, a call to their father and threat to contact my lawyer the principal finally released my children from his locked office. A very traumatic experience and disappointing for us all. This school is a cesspool of corruption and gross incompetence and has very little to do with Christian morality. They are more into religious ritual than teaching the children to have a relationship with Christ. I wouldn't advise taking your children anywhere near this school. Oh and most of the people leaving 5star reviews work for the school somehow.

I have four children at Founders Christian school and it is without a doubt the best educational experience you could ask for. The teachers are committed believers who deliver an outstanding education from a biblical world view. They live out what they believe. My kids are challenged, loved, and nurtured. Any parent in Spring or The Woodlands looking for a Christ-centered educational offering should look no further.

When it came time for us to enroll our son in Kindergarten we did quite a bit of 'shopping'. We evaluated everything from the public school system in Magnolia ISD near where we lived at the time to a few close by private schools including Legacy Prep. While all the options seemed good, after going to the Founders tour we were left with no doubts that this was the place we wanted to both enroll our kids in and invest in as parents. It is clearly evident that the faculty and staff are committed to teaching through a biblical world view and that the classrooms are managed in a loving way that really could not be executed anywhere else. Behavioral issues are addressed (rightly) as 'heart' issues and the class sizes (intentionally kept at less than 14) are ideally suited for teacher involvement and quality time with the students. The 'classical teaching model' is amazing and integrates subjects so that classes don't present materials that are 'siloed' and disconnected but instead are interwoven. Teacher turnover is uncommonly low and students that go there tend to stay there. By the time my son is a senior in High School he will be defending a thesis (something I didn't even do in my undergrad at Baylor). The school has lots of plans for expansion and enrichment in athletics beyond what is currently offered and the staff is committed to delivering on their mission. This place may just be the best kept secret in Spring. Both of our 2 children now attend. For anyone who might be even remotely considering it you should check out a tour. They do them on a regular basis and you can really see what goes on inside the school itself.
