Initially, I loved this school. The curriculum and food menus appeared to be the best in town! However, after moving my son to the three-year-old room, we started having issues. He stopped using the restroom and started telling me that his teacher is mean. Management decided to move him back to the two's. He stopped having accidents and started loving school again. When we decided to move him back into the three's I started getting calls stating my son was out of control and throwing chairs across the room and beating up on other children. When I come in to pick him up, his three-year-old teacher would tell me a different story. I requested my son be transferred to a different three-year-old classroom, but was told there wasn't one. There are two classes, they just didn't want to move him in the other class. Then, the accidents started happening again. I told them that my son has been expressing dissatisfaction with the teacher again and I reminded them that a child who is uncomfortable will not use the bathroom! They consistently had no answers. All of my suggestions to rectify the situation were turned down. I have since pulled him out of this school and moved him back to the school he was at previously. He has had ZERO accidents and he loves going to school again. He talks about his teachers and tells me how much he loves them. I am so glad we decided to leave this school. I would also like to mention that his "behavioral issues" have mysteriously vanished.

My son has been going to Primrose School of East Mesa for about 2 months now. I couldn't be happier with them. We researched and toured about 15 day cares in the valley before finding Primrose. I had a hard time finding a center that had everything we were looking for. #1 Caring teachers. When we brought my son into the toddler room at Primrose, both teachers greeted him by name with open arms and say down to play with him. Not one other center did this. The teachers at other centers looked like they hated their jobs and were stressed out...not the kind of people I want to leave my baby with. This distinction immediately drew my interest to Primrose. #2 Cleanliness and safety. The playgrounds are safe, well maintained and age appropriate. The classrooms are always well stocked and clean. I feel safe every day dropping him off there. I can't say the same for the other centers we toured. #3 Nutrition. Primrose was the only school able to accommodate my son's vegan diet. Other centers either didn't know what a vegan diet was or asked me to pack protein for him daily. This was a big deciding factor that Primrose is able to provide my son healthy meals he actually likes that follow our family's dietary restrictions. Every person we've encountered at Primrose from the director, assistant director, teachers and other staff have all been so kind and helpful. My son is happy there and we are happy I kept looking and didn't settle until we found the perfect place for him.

They look good on paper. Great curriculum and nutrition plan. Problem solving with parents, and trouble shooting behaviors seems low on their priority list, though. For a place whose only job is to manage children, I was surprised by their ability to be rolled over by a three year old. We will probably return to Kindercare, where we experienced more of a team environment between parents, educators, and administrative staff.

I love this school. Our 2yr old attends 3x a week. His vocabulary and social interactions with other children has shown an amazing leap forward. He looks forward to spending the day with the other children and the faculty. I love the communication I receive and the option to get a snap shot of him to see how he is doing that day. Thank you Primrose for doing a fantastic job in caring for my son.
