This is an incredible school. We tours all of the Santa Barbara private schools and feel in love with MCS. My kids have attended for 5 years and the school philosophy delivers. My boys love learning, are not afraid of a challenge and are very curious about new subjects. The teachers are seasoned professionals with years and years of classroom experience. If you are not familiar with the Montessori Philosophy and you have kids, I would suggest learning about all the benefits it gives. An amazing place of learning.

I cannot say enough good things about this school. It is a second home to my two boys. They both started at the school since they were 18 months old and have thrived under Montessori philosophy. All the teachers are exceptionally professional, caring and sensitive to the needs of the kids. Additionally, the community of parents is amazing. I love this school and would encourage everyone to take a tour of this beautiful place.

I wasn't educated in Montessori as a child and knew very little about it until we decided to enroll our first child at Montessori Center School. After his first year we knew it was the absolute best decision we could have made and immediately enrolled our daughter there as well. Their focus on the child developing a love of learning is true. Both of my children look forward to school every day and what they are learning eclipses what I learned at that age. The best part is that they are developing a real love of learning that will stay with them for their whole lives.

My wife and I feel so blessed and lucky that we choose Montessori Center School for pre-primary when our twins were 22 months old. The are now in their fourth year at MCS and I already know that it will be a bittersweet day about eight years from now when they graduate. MCS is really like their second home. The teachers and administration are all so smart and caring. Take it from me, if you are looking for a school for your toddler to elementary age child, you will be thankful later if you choose MCS!

My son has been at MCS for three years. This school has been instrumental in his development. He has grown to be a mindful, empathic, kind child. His mathematics and writing skills have advanced amazingly well. The teachers and parents at the school create such an wonderful, welcoming community.
