I am a student at this school and I am very happy with it, I got bullied in 4th and 5th grade by some people....right now I am very happy.....I recommend NCS to any Christian fam8ly

I moved from a small Lutheran school to north west christian as a 4th grader, and I had wonderful teacher mrs Irwin. But unfortunately ncs had bullies and did not protect me or did they trust me or believe me about what was going on. Luckily I got through the 4th grade with the constant "bully". I had to get bangs because I was being bullied. I had to pluck my eyebrows because I was being bullied. In 5th grade I had a wonderful teacher mrs weiland. Thankfully the queen of bullying wasn't it in my class. So things were okay in 5th grade. 6th grade came.. my experience was awful. The principal of middle school and the superintendent was unbearable. My parents can say that as well. I would be pulled in the middle of class even though my 7th period teacher said not to, it was a very hard class for me and I really needed to pay attention but I guess they just didn't care. In all honesty you could just do it in the morning.. But they just didn't care. I never stood up for myself because I knew I was just going to be shot down.. I told them that I was getting bullied they did not listen. They thought that I was lying so I got put into in-school suspension. My dad tried to stand up for me but they told my dad he was a liar. I have been bullied for 3 years straight because, I have acne on my forehead. Your eyebrows are too hairy. Your too skinny. Why are you so fat today? Ew are you wearing makeup? I have even been physically bullied by this person as well. What did the principal do? She did nothing. She was a christian too. It let the christianity straight out of me. If God was real why didn't he do something, I think that was the role the principal, and superintendent could have helped me with but they straight up didn't care. I got called a mean name that offended me. I told that teacher after school and she did nothing about it. She kept making excuses, which seemed that I caused that person to say something awful to me. I had the worst time at a school they said was Christian, they also loved to plunge the christian facts and verses down me in every class they could. It was like a prison to where your forced to learn a religion. Im a Christian but being swallowed in all these facts is obviously overwhelming and if your trying to teach your kid about Christianity.. Its not going to happen. If you want your kid to go here you have to accept the fact that the teachers choose favorites, the middle school principal is unbearable, the superintendent believes what he wants to believe, and that you won't be cared about as being a fellow christian follower. You are trash to them, they just take your money and say this place is a safe environment. When its clearly not. I had wonderful teachers including Mrs Shepherd. But this school did not work out for me. My parents got pulled out of school because it was clearly not a safe environment for me to be in, I was moved to public school and it has been a wonderful experience there and I think it was the best idea my parents and I have ever had. The Principal, vice principal etc actually care about me and they want to listen to what I have to say then just ignoring me and believing what they want to believe. The people there are awesome and so kind to me and I have so much more friends than I would ever have had a NCS. If you are looking to send your kid to a Christian school definitely would not recommend going to NCS.

Our daughter attended preschool. Loved her teacher. Everyone was friendly.

Our son came in as an 8th grader in August of 2016. Our family has been very pleased with the school (the teachers, the administration, and staff) from day 1. The teachers are very proactive with the students and are exceptionally involved in ensuring they provide a solid and supportive learning experience. The monthly BBOC (Big Boys on Campus) sessions for fathers and their children are a fantastic way to keep dads and their kids tuned in to what Christ wants for His family. Kudos to the administration for the BBOC and other programs throughout the year that keep families focused on the bigger picture of a Christian world view. Let US shine the light of God's message of love and hope throughout the community. We're looking forward to what the next 4 years will bring for our son and our family.
