I wouldn’t say the school is horrible, but there are things that could’ve been even better! I’m currently a college student. If I were still in grade school, it’s not an online school I would even want to be registered again. My mom and I switched to another school that seemed more flexible. We both were over the work load and paying a lot of money. When I first started doing this school in 8th grade around March 2012, the work load wasn’t that bad at first, but unfortunately when I did 9th and 10th grade it started to become overly heavy. It took me 2 fricken years to finish up 9th grade like no kidding!

Absolutely the worst school I have ever had the "pleasure" of attending. The classes are way too long, as if they want you to spend up to $200 on an extension. On top of that, you get little to zero help or feedback from your teachers when it counts. If you do get a response, its about 3-5 days later putting you even more behind than you already were. Get ready for math tutors if your child doesn't understand the math all that well. The math department is trash. If you come across this school: Don't. Do. It. It's not worth the time, and certainly not worth the money.

This school absolutely sucked. They just want you to pay for extensions. They treat it like a business. I do not reccomed it's at all.

It is surprising that an institution that means so well can be so dated, racist and sexist. 5th grade social studies hasn't been updated since George W. Bush was is office. It also refers to Sacagawea repeatedly as "Indian maiden Sacagawea" which is a grotesque way to refer to a major figure in American History. Even the math lessons put women down. 5th grade math lesson 27 is about planning ahead. It says of getting dressed "plan on 5 minutes if you are a boy and 20 minutes if you are a girl (because everyone knows girls need more time!)" I frequently have to stop my lessons to explain to my students that, for example, boys are allowed to take a lot of time to get ready if they want, and that girls aren't required to take 20 minutes to alter their appearance so that they are physically acceptable and fit to be looked at in public. The curriculum needs serious attention and revision.

I wouldn't listen to most of the critics here on Google Review, it all seems to be written by one person judging by the writing styles. This school was awesome, best experience of my life. The teachers are helpful and accommodating and my workload was fine. And, the learning pace really CAN be adjusted according to ability. I super enjoyed my time here.
