WOW! I was hesitant to start my 4 year old daughter at any school, since she is my 3rd child and only girl. I just wasn't ready to give up our time together. As a mom of 3 with children ranging from 10 down to 3, I have toured many schools over the years. Had kids in many different programs, and have seen and heard about all the options out there to choose from. I instantly fell in love with Chatsworth Hills Academy the moment I stepped foot on their beautiful campus. Then, when I heard about the International Baccalaureate program, small class sizes, and some of the stories about things classes from the previous year were doing, I knew I didn't need to look any further. Suddenly, my unwillingness to let my daughter leave my side melted away, and excitement took over about the gift we could give her by enrolling her at CHA. The plan was to enroll her 3 days a week, to get her started, but still give us our days together. Day 1, she went running into the classroom and couldn't wait to get started. I couldn't wait to pick her up and hear all about her day. At the end of the day, she came RUNNING to me with the BIGGEST SMILE I'VE ever seen on her face. She got in the car and told me "Mommy! I had the BEST DAY! I want to go EVERYDAY!'" She actually continued to tell us all night that she wanted to go everyday, and was insisting on it. So I contacted the school later that evening and enrolled her for 5 days a week. It was the best thing we could have done for her. The excitement has not stopped, and she is mad on the weekends that she can't go to school. In my wildest dreams, I couldn't have imagined a better school for her. The teachers, staff, administrators, and parents have built such a wonderful program, and community. I cannot imagine my daughter at any other school. So I am very thankful that she will be able to stay there until 8th grade... and my hope is that by the time she is in 8th grade, there will be a high school program available so she never has to leave! Thank you to everyone at CHA for making our family feel so welcome, and for providing such an exceptional program. I would give you 100 stars if it were possible!

Chatsworth Hills Academy has been the perfect place for my 13 year old exchange student from China. (In his second school year now.) They assessed his needs, adapted his education, worked closely with us as he adjusted to school, language and American culture. It's a hands on school where the whole person is considered. They allow independent thinking, problem solving and the students are empowered to give input and make a difference in their school. The teachers, staff and administration genuinely care about your child and their development. I have lived in the Valley for over 20 years and never knew CHA existed. If I had known, my own three children would have attended here. Would highly recommend it!

My daughter started at CHA in the early childhood program when she was just 2 1/2 years old. This amazing place became her home away from home for 11 years. She graduated from the Middle school this year and they have completely prepared for her freshman year at Chaminade High school. The teachers and the staff became her family and the sense of community we experienced over the years was so very special. We will all miss the beautiful campus and the wonderful people who work there. She has taken with her life long friendships. Thank you Chatsworth Hills Academy for all you have done!!

I have two boys at CHA. One is entering 3rd grade, the other 1st. They both started the school at age 2 1/2 in their Early Childhood Program. The campus is beautiful. I live in Chatsworth and had no idea the school existed until I started looking for preschools. As soon as I saw the campus, I fell in love. It was the complete opposite of the concrete jungles I saw everywhere else. The best thing about the school is the dedication of the teachers. They are as excited as the children about the IB program the school is currently administrating under the Head of School, Adrian Allan. I am thrilled that I have found an environment where I know my children are actually enjoying their education and look forward to going to school every morning!

My children absolutely adore Chatsworth Hills Academy. It is a beautiful and safe campus nestled in the foothills - a stunning environment that encourages exploration and discovery. The warm and nurturing faculty provide outstanding academics, sports, arts, and extra-curricular activities. I am watching my children grow into thoughtful, aware, and confident members of society and have CHA to thank for it.
