A student at fusion academy sexually harassed multiple women at the school and threatened rape to many of them. In response fusion said they would suspend him for the rest of the year but what really happened was that they suspended him for three weeks and then the principle had him back because the principle believes in second, third, fourth, fifth chances even for people who threaten rape. When confronted the principle explained he didn’t want to tarnish the offender’s permenant record. That he “didn’t deserve thatâ€. Fusion academy claims to be a safe place and yet they refuse to establish proper punishment in fear of harming some one’s record. I go to fusion academy and knowing that my principle is protecting someone who sexually offended minors and threatened rape makes me feel terrified to go to school. Victims came forward and were ignored. I don’t feel safe, I feel angry that the women who bravely came forward were disrespected to this point. I’m not sure how I would be expected to learn at this school or from their staff at this point. I don’t feel safe.
