The school is great and you get to learn Spanish and do fun class plays

Or daughter started 1st grade at Black Pine Circle this year. We are LOVING it. The academics are great- the subjects are very well integrated and overlapping, the teachers are fantastic, and the kids spend a ton of time outside. The music and art programs are fantastic as well. They treat the kids as individuals, and it's fun- my daughter doesn't want to leave, and doesn't like weekends because she misses school. We just moved here from out of state, and everyone at Black Pine Circle has been so helpful and welcoming. I think what really makes BPC great, is the staff. Everyone is so dedicated. The staff does a bunch of continuing education/training. Not to mention how fun they are, especially the head of school, John Carlstroem . I really feel like all different personalities will/do thrive at BPC. I highly recommend Black Pine Circle.

My twin girls are in first grade at BPC & we couldn't be happier with the education they're receiving. In addition to a strong foundation in the basics taught creatively, my girls get music 3 days a week, violin twice a week, art, Spanish, PE, gardening, additional Science and Math from specialist teachers and computers. They also implement Socratic methods with even the youngest students. What I am struck by every time I com on campus in the kindness the students show each other. Older kids welcome younger ones into their sports game. My girls are greeted by name and with hugs by older girls. The kids are genuinely nice and supportive. The parent community is equally great. It truly is a gem of a school! We're so glad we found it.

We are new to Black Pine Circle School this year. Our daughter is in the second grade and I am wondering why I didn't start her off in K there. She is being challenged and rewarded in ways that we never imagined. The curriculum is challenging and attainable thus helping each child rise to the bar. The art and music programs are engaging and help support the academic subjects. As parents we are thrilled with the BPC community and our child loves to go school everyday! The best!

It is a great school! Our son has flourished. We have great teachers, fantastic and very involved head of school/director, and invested community. Saying "it's like a family" might sound cliche, but it it is really like that.
