We started the Goddard in July 2014. At the time our oldest was 2 years, 2 months and our twins were just over 1 year. The first week was a little tough (for the adults) -- getting used to the new “normal” – lunches, dropping off and picking up, more laundry, etc. However, the kids blossomed. They love all the outside play, music, arts and crafts and the wonderful teachers. Our oldest took a little getting used to napping at school, but our twins immediately napped based on their home schedule. By the end of the second week we had happy children, bouncing in the doors, excited to see their teachers and start the day. In September our oldest was ready to graduate into another class. She really was excited about the “Lizards”, but was sad to leave the “Bees”. So to accommodate her needs the staff lets her to have breakfast every morning with the bees and then head over to the lizards. This has helped her self-confidence and social skills. It also demonstrated to us that the staff listens to the needs of the children and the parents. The investment in technology the Goddard makes is also critical to the family. They let Mom and Dad know what happened during the day – eating, bathroom habits, curriculum, any notices, etc. I would make this decision again and again. And I highly recommend the Goddard school.

When my son first attended Goddard he was shy and really didn’t participate in play time with other children. After attending Goddard he has absolutely blossomed. Here are just some of the things I adore about this school: 1. The Management is top notch. They have extremely HIGH standards that create an environment of excellence for the entire school. 2. The staff is amazing. My son is now 4 years old and has had the pleasure of moving through most of the classes at Goddard. The teachers are organized, caring, and adhere to the high standards set by management. 3. Daily Reports – I know what the goals are each week, each activity, and I get pictures of my son participating in art projects, activity centers, and free play. 4. Summer Activities – This summer alone Goddard has provided bubble shows, balloon shows, petting zoos, train rides, and more! It is amazing to know that not only is my son getting an excellent education, he thinks he is playing all day long. Recently, my love for the Goddard school has grown after an incident that occurred in our local community. A car crashed into 6 gas meters and the homes in the immediate area were evacuated. Goddard management and staff couldn’t have handled the situation better. I now believe Goddard is one of the safest places my son could be in emergency situations. Thank you Goddard for your service and all that you have done for our son!

My wife and I must have researched over 20 preschools for our daughter and when we toured the Goddard School, we knew it was the right place. Everyone there is just awesome, especially Allison whom our daughter RUNS to and gives a big hug to every day. Jackie regularly emails pictures to us showing how much fun our daughter is having during the day. Your child will not only be safe here, they will be loved. For the school itself, everything is clean, organized, and our daughter literally skips down the hall every day. Some days, when I go to pick her up, she wants 5 more minutes to finish what she is doing, she is having that much fun. Every single day she comes home with art projects and other fun learning activities and the school does a lot of fun creative stuff like pajama day, princess day, etc... where the kids get to have fun dressing up and, well, just being kids! What blows me away the most is they are not even the most expensive school in the area, but they are by far the best. Choosing who to entrust with the care and nurturing of your child is one of the most important decisions you can make as a parent and after finding Goddard, I can not imagine a better, safer, more healthy environment for our child.

The Goddard School is one of the finest preschool/kindergarten schools in Orange County. This review comes from personal experience, as my daughter attended the school from the age of 2 all the way through kindergarten. Additionally, I have been a primary educator for over twenty years and have achieved National Board Certification in Early Childhood two times. The Goddard program educates the WHOLE child: socially, emotionally and academically. They strive and succeed to meet the needs of every child in all of these areas. The student/teacher ratio is typically 10 to 1, which allows for academic differentiation and individualized attention. My daughter "graduated" from kindergarten with the skills that have enabled her to be highly successful when she transitioned to her next school. She has confidence in her social skills and academic strengths that allow her the opportunity to be a leader within her classroom environment. I attribute these strengths to the guidance and education that the Goddard school provided her. Without hesitation........I would highly recommend this educational experience for any child!

I had chosen The Goddard School in Ladera Ranch to send my infant son of 8 weeks at the time because I knew one of the teachers/care takers in the infant room. What I didn't know is that the other four teachers were just as excellent as she was. They were concerned with not only the child but us as a family. This school delivers excellent customer service. My 5 year old son attended as well earlier on for the Pre-school and Kindergarten Boot-camp and is doing very well in private school. It is imperative that the parents are communicating with the teachers on a regular basis so that expectations are set and can be delivered by the teachers to the best of their abilities. Basically, the school is complete and thorough to what is required to ensure my child is able to excel in the elementary schools in all areas (socially and educationally).
