Can't agree more with Ron Hartford's review. The school doesn't have a cafeteria, upper grade students eats in a old math classroom. This school doesn't respect student's individuality at all.

The teachers have unreasonable rules and horrible policies. They lie to the parents to give them an illusion that it is a good school. They turn the kids into social retards whom are unable to attend highschool normally. They make the kids feel like little children so they act like little children who have no since of independance. The school is extremely segregated the boys and the girls play on completely different sides of the yard. They sit on two different sides of the cafeteria and are ridiculed if they do any other. The teachers are either extremely left-winged or extremely right-winged and constantly force their political thoughts on the children. The school is very cheap and does not provide adequite resources to the children even though you pay a high tuition. 95% of the classes are portable and are very old. The teachers obviously work for the weekend and often get very angry for no reason, its a tuition school and should be shut down for all the wrongs it has committed. Not to mention the fact that the school does not perform to standards nor does it follow proper regulations. Please you try to save your children from the dangers of the outside world so you send them her completely unaware of the fact that you are just exposing them to it. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!

I have 3 boys at Carden, my oldest will be in 7th grade in the fall. He has been at Carden since 3 years old with Mrs. Murrell, what a fantastic teacher! We fell in love with the school from the very beginning. The teachers are so caring, and they are truly able to pull from the child's strengths. I was at first very impressed with traditions that the school is based upon and the Carden Method. I have come to realize in speaking with parents from other schools, that children at Carden are definitely a grade level ahead. I feel very blessed to have found Carden.

I went here when it was still in La Habra. It was one of the greatest experiences I had. Unfortunately, they moved too far for me to stay and I left in 4th grade...but I can honestly say that the ideals they set have stuck with me - I'm in law school now and having Carden as a foundation made a great start.
