As a new family to the Coast last year, we struggled with the decision on where to live and send our kids to school. Our kids went to public school in Florida and we were tired of them not being challenged and learning to a test. Despite great teachers, they had little flexibility to build their own lesson plan and had to deal with many 'problem' children, which was very distracting. We decided to go private and figure out a way to fund this endeavor. After going through a year at Sea Crest, I can say this is money well spent. They are challenged, the teachers are great and the curriculum really immerses them in subject matter so they actually learn what they are studying over time versus a day here and there. Each kid is treated individually and paced accordingly. The classes are small so attention can be given. The school grounds itself boasts a gym, field, play area and of course the classrooms so it has everything other schools have and more. The community is small enough to know others and parents/volunteers step up to make the school a better place. We are happy with the decision and feel grateful that our two boys are getting the attention they deserve.

I am a huge believer that a quality education could come from anywhere. For my family Sea Crest was the perfect choice. The quality of education is unmatched and the community that is built between the teachers, students, and families is unbelievable. It is a well rounded school with small classes and a focus on a complete education, including incredible electives such as art, music, drama, and technology taught by dedicated professionals. I highly recommend this school for anyone looking for an unbelievable elementary and middle school experience for the entire family.

It would be great if the parents would stop parking in the neighboring Villa Cardoza's permit parking only spots. Please be courteous to the people that live in the neighborhood surrounding the school

Our daughter is currently enjoying her third year at Sea Crest School. Every year has been an exceptional experience with its own unique curriculum highlights. We have been especially thrilled by the hands on learning that has taken place through creative and enriching projects. Over the past few years we have enjoyed the Annual All School Musical Production, the First Grade Farmers Market, and the Second Grade World Study in which the children fill an entire passport as they travel the world learning everything from climate to culture about the countries that surround us. The conversations we have at home with our eight year old daughter are inspirational and far beyond her years. We attribute this to the outstanding teachers and faculty at Sea Crest who have opened her eyes to the many possibilities for the future.
