I could make a list of wonderful things about this school, including the nice people working there but I leave that for the other reviews. I want to expose something very real here that you should think twice before considering this school for your child, specially if she/he is young. My five years old was always telling me that she did not want to go to this school for the short period of time she was going there. She would not tell me why so I thought it was just matter of time and an adaptation issue to the new environment. I happened to be reading the book "I Said No! A Kid-to-kid Guide to Keeping Private Parts Private" and my daughter started speaking up about two other kids (5 years old girl and 6 years old boy) showing each other's private parts. She even mention "niple high-fives" and pulling down their underpants behind the shed. The school never told me anything about this so I brought it up to the staff. The Staff just asked my daughter "Is this still happening?". Even there they did not talk to me at all about it. I contacted the mother of the 5 years old girl and she told me that this has been happening (her daughter has been in therapy and she also has been checked by a doctor specialist related to this issue) so yes, she has been informed by the school. I was shocked that my daughter was in the middle of this mess and I was not informed about anything related to this matter. I probably look like someone who would make noise about it just like I am doing right now. Also I have been noticing that after few week away from this school my daughter has been slowly going back to spend time with books. This specific school has no books for little kids to explore neither toys.

This school taught me very important lessons of a community at a young age. It helped to further my understanding of democracy, simple, and complex conflict resolution. This school has a very tightly knit community that allows for everyone to feel at home and safe and I'm glad to have met the people from here. Thank you to the members of this school that have helped me through my early teenhood.

Best approach to education in The Bay! I went their for my kindergarten through high school education and graduated with a high school diploma at age 16. I got into the college I wanted and am about to graduate with my bachelor's after only 3.5 years.
