Pretty good school but there is quite a number of cliques and people feel left out sometimes (especially introverted types). So I'd suggest working on that by really encouraging students to work on trying to make everyone feel included. Great diversity, athletics, safety and academics (for the most part) though!

Loved this school! great principal and teachers! We moved out of the area and that is the only reason we are not still there. The new Christian school my boys attend didn't come close to how well this school was run! Front office is also so organized and helpful! Really miss being there!

I don't know how valid the review 5 years ago was. When I went here, most of the high school teachers having been teaching for 1-2 decades, and certainly knew their subjects. Having a bachelor's/master's certainly does not matter if the teacher is able to teach their subjects well, and that's what I got. LLA has been cracking down on drugs in recent years and the most you'll find is 5 people in each class doing drugs if they weren't already caught. The only statement I agree with is that tuition is indeed expensive and continues to rise all the way until high school. However, if you want to put kid in an institution where he or she has a deep and vast understanding about God through an SDA perspective, LLA certainly encourages you to explore your faith, and as someone raised in a Christian household, this has definitely strengthened my beliefs.

Genesis 1:3 And God said, "Let there be light," and it was lit.

So what they're teaching their kids is that it's perfectly fine to knock down a building that held history. I knocked down a building that people in the past worked their butts off and paid with their own money. All of that hard work is knocked down. I heard that it's apparently for a new building. Well guess that? You aren't gonna get more kids for that new building because of your high tuition demands!
