If you are considering attending a loving and academically challenging high school, you should read my following reviews carefully and take them into your consideration. As a former international student at Linfield Christian High school graduated 3 years ago, I would rate this school zero star because of its discriminating atmosphere and its lack of ability to prepare students for college. Coming to America from my home country, I was expecting to learn from American teachers. However, THE SCHOOL DEPRIVED ME OF my opportunity to show them what I know and FORCED me to be in an English class taught by a Chinese teacher, who was not, at all, a native English speaker, when I was clearly able to success in an English class taught by an AMERICAN teacher. Moreover, I was only informed of this after paying my tuition and fees which were, and still are, double the amount of tuition for American students. By then, I had no choice but to only accept their arrangement UNWILLINGLY. I consider this disguising information and not being completely upfront and honest about the student's whole experience at school. There are some staunch followers in Christ, yet the overall atmosphere cannot be described as Christian-like. Drugs have been brought to campus, and students have been subjected to sexual offense such as being asked for nudes. There are amazing teachers, mostly in the science department. However, with the principal rolling eyes at you and constantly treating you differently than they would to an American student, it was hard to put my trust in the school's staffs. I really would not recommend this school to anyone at anytime.

I was an alumni at Linfield and now work in the Admissions Office. Obviously, I am a little biased since I think this place is wonderful. However, having seen both sides of the Linfield experience, I can honestly say that the lower star reviews are simply not accurate. No place is perfect-- every school is filled with people and students who aren't flawed and make mistakes. HOWEVER, what I think Linfield does really well is try to pursue excellence in each area and to honor Christ with all decisions, whether it be disciplinary actions or development goals. If there is a problem, because of our small community and class sizes, administrators and teachers know about it early and are able to address it. The faculty is really here for the students- they care on a level that far exceeds their job description. I had staff members mentor me through college, relationships, and even attend my wedding. If you're looking for a place where the people care about your kids, you need to check out Linfield. Academics are a main focus on all campuses. At the Elementary School, it looks like LOTS of hands-on learning experiences and teachers who foster a love of learning in each student. At the Middle School, students have an amazing selection of classes to 'try'-- whether it be 3D printing Drones in STEAM class, learning about graphic design, or taking the lead in the school musical. At the High School, every student is able to meet with college counselors several times each year. They help each student choose their 'path' and find their right college fit, ensuring they are taking the right classes, and even holding their hands through the college admissions process. Again, I love this place. Truly. Check it out for yourself!

Linfield is so cool!!!! I am a proud alumni of Linfield Christian School. As a college preparatory school, they maintain their academic rigor while seamlessly integrating a Christ-centered viewpoint. Something I loved as a student is that people of all faith backgrounds are accepted and loved. Differing opinions are honored and respectfully talked about through a Biblical perspective. I graduated Linfield with a good GPA and got into the college of my dreams. The standard of academics at Linfield was so high, that many of my college courses were a walk in the park. Linfield prepared me so thoroughly for college, which made way for me to participate in more extra curriculars. By far, my favorite aspect of being a student at Linfield were the teachers. They genuinely care about every student and make it a point to not only invest in their academics, but in their personal lives as well. I had teachers who invested in me well after my graduation date. I am so thankful to have had the privilege to attend Linfield, and someday hope to send my own children there. Go Lions!!

I attended Linfield as a kid. I now work here. My children go to school here. Being a part of the Linfield family is a blessing. My children will grow into leaders. My children will be prepared for college. I'm doing my sons a huge favor by having them here at Linfield. I wouldn't have it any other way.
